Wife and I headed to garner state park to play in frio river. Plenty of cold river water to play in. Took pyr and Australian shepherd with us and they turned into real waterbugs. Came home sat and cleaned up. Got up early today and met up with buewulf for some serious Texas backroads. I chased a 650 husky all day and had a great time. 350 miles is a good day for uellymae and she ran really well. One uh-oh at a farm market intersection was only downfall for the day. Anyhow, everyone ride safe and enjoy your fall equinox!

Awesome pics, thanks for sharing! Post up more if ya got 'em.

We've been watching our hummingbirds here at the house lately- it's like the battle of Midway every day around here with the little critters! We think we've finally got a multi-generational family hanging around this year... good stuff!

More pix for you! Aussie is 8 and pyr is 5. Best of buds I'd say. Pyr is companion type , not a pet. She pretty much does as she wishes which she and wife butts heads, often. Treble hook is what we pulled out of pyr right rear paw. She didn't complain but it was up to barb in depth. Wife got Leatherman out and hook pulling we went. Oh, and we took ring neck parrot with us too.

Beautiful

Gotta add -
Coming home the end of October to ride the Texas Mile in Beeville.
My folks live in Cuero, so I'll be staying there while I run Chase Field.

I know i'm gonna get in trouble climbing on the F9F-Cougar at the courthouse if it's still there.
I was all over it 45 years ago.... 1958-1965

What are you bringing to the Texas mile, zac? I never have gone to that to see it. This year might be a good year to go and catch up with you. Got a bud that lives several miles south of cuero. A cnc machinist type that works in victoria. He's lives in a hell of a mancave that's he's built. If darryl is home , I may have a place to stay as well. Let me know your schedule.
