Impressive specs but not exactly one of the better looking Ducati's ever made. Kudos to Ducati for progressing the Monster line up.

This was the best looking.


I'm sure the new version is the better bike, but I'm not into the latest and greatest.

^^^ except full ohlins, abs, switchable mapping, monoblock calipers and a dealer network.

But yes, it is significantly down on power compared to the other naked bikes.

People were hoping for the pinagale engine.

Most of the top looks like a "traditional" Monster, pretty cool, BUT the bottom is WAY too busy, especially that oil cooler... buh-bye, +$1000, maybe the whole engine, if that thing gets hit... why in the heck can't they lay that laterally, with a venturi scoop? It'd be MUCH safer, and much less of a visual turd.

I still think it's hard to go past the original M900 myself, so clean and simple ; )
