Wow. Apparently they heard the terrorist loading a weapon in the bathroom and when he emerged, they confronted him. They stopped what would have been a massacre. God Bless the US Marines. http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/21/europe/france-train- shooting/index.html |

Norway, Belgium, what's the difference? It's CNN, they don't know that Belgium isn't France. They have to look up anything that's not New York City or Washington D.C. Most of the staff would be astonished to find out that New York is a major agriculture state. Good going troops. Sheepdogs & proud of it. |

Apparently the Marines spotted the man, thought he was up to no good and followed him onto the train. Wow. |

Well, the story blurted out incorrect details on many things, but is getting clearer as time goes on. Looks like Air Force and National Guard, all from Northern California. Anyway, good news. |

Really can't blame the jurnos, they are under a lot of pressure to get a report out and their bosses don't much care if it is correct as long as it is first. The web rewards the first to report not the most accurate report. They were not there they got rumors and hearsay second hand. Pretty much the norm for major breaking news like this. /In the bad old days you have some time to actually check the story out. The newscast was at 5 pm not every minute. |
