I'd take I81 just because that route is 666 miles. I personally will just go whichever way Waze takes me, likely a variant of I95/I70 route from where I live. | ||

I rode backroads through Massachusetts and Connecticut to Danbury, then I got on I-84 to I-81 to Hagerstown. I then took I-70, 68 & 79 and US Rt.50 right by where the rally is going to be. I even got gas at the exit for North Bend State Park. It looks like a really beautiful area for a Motorcycle gathering. I'm in Cincinnati, now and it's only about 4 hours from here. I plan to arrive on Thursday afternoon. See you all there! | ||

There's a new guy we've been watching on the boob tube, he goes through EVERYTHING BBQ, with a wacky sense of humor... IIRC it's "BBQ with Franklin"- he showed how to build a smoker out of an old propane tank, VERY cool! WAY too many slobber-worthy views of all types of BBQ... he demo'ed brisket 3 ways: aluminum wrapped, butcher paper wrapped, and nekkid. About put my head through the teevee.  | ||

I just pulled this little tidbit from the State Parks Website: Located in the north-western section of the state, North Bend is easily accessible from four-lane U.S. 50 which stretches across north central West Virginia from Parkersburg to Clarksburg. Driving east, take U.S. 50 to the junction of WV 31 (21 miles). Take WV 31 to Cairo and follow signs to the park. Driving west, take WV 16 to Harrisville and follow signs to the park. Consult your highway map for further details. NOTE: Guests have reported that Map Quest and Google Map directions to North Bend are not accurate and gives directions that park staff would never recommend to guests. North Bend apologizes for negative experiences using Map Quest or Google Maps and encourages guests to take advantage of written directions on park websites. WV 31 is crooked as dogs hind leg and the park road is VERY narrow. If you are pulling a trailer, take Rt 16. 16 is pretty twisty but it wide enough. and on another note...  | ||
