Sunday morning meeting with my SEO guru, reading your posts while I wait for him to arrive from church...shaking my head and smiling. I'm no rock star, I'm just a man. No more. No less. But I'm a real one. Enjoy your Sunday. |

Welcome Bruce, and and congrats to mr. Buell now that you have someone to run the company,I have owned 25 motorcycles to this point in my life and the 2 most enjoyable bikes I now ride daily are a 2009 XB12 Firebolt and a 2014 E.B.R. 1190SX . I have allway's been and will most certainly now continue to be an ambassador of these brand's I wish the best of luck to you. |

Welcome to the madness, Bruce. If you ever get the urge, I'm not too far away (western MD) and have a garage with 5 tagged/legal Buells - 3 tubers, a Uly, and an 1125 - drop by sometime and we'll burn up some pavement. And tell Erik and Kim I said hi |

What exactly is wrong with owning a Vespa? How many of you have ridden a scooter? They are damn fun to ride! My brother has a little Honda 250 that I've ridden, has a 400 Majesty that he recently bought, but dead clutch so I haven't ridden it yet. Bruce, welcome. Will be interesting to see what you do with this company. Two requests: #1 a real long distance touring machine, think BMW KxxxxLT, a used BMW is very likely my next purchase for two up travelling. #2 a new American police motorcycle, just something I think we as a country should have. |

What exactly is wrong with owning a Vespa? Boy, I hope you're joking. I followed that Vespa comment with three different emoticon, or what ever they're called these days, to help people get the idea that it was a joke. He's got some pretty cool rides in his stable. I'm guessing he's man enough to handle the Vespa. |

Welcome Mr. Belfer! You nailed it when you said "Word is this is the oldest, baddest, most hardcore Buell/EBR forum on the web....." Lots of knowledge, expertise, opinions and passion here. Not necessarily all the time 2 wheel related but passionate none the less. I look forward to the next chapter in the Buell saga. I anxiously await a replacement for my beloved Uly. (I've got tubers too..). Greg, Sifo, you know what they say about Vespa's.. "Scooters are kind of like large women, fun to ride but you don't want your buddies to see you"... Not my quote, just parroting! Carry on boys. Brad |

Brad, you should buy a scooter, they are kind of a liberating ride. Twist and go, nothing to worry about but the ride. Sifo, just getting it out there that mocking scooters is not something we should do, emoticons or not. If they weren't so expensive, I'd probably own a Piaggio MP3 because I think they are cool. |

I'm mostly a big bore, high horsepower in mass centralized packages guy these days.. but hey guess what, I enjoy "twist and go" scooters! my granddad handed down to me his '64 trail 55 at age seven for my first bike.. I've had a honda 150 elite and now have a pristine honda 250 reflex tucked away in the stable for when the urge to "free-up a little mental bandwidth" and enjoy the ride hits.. I can totally appreciate why a guy would own one or two.. Vespa's are actually pretty cool |

65 vespa is a bad ass scooter. if you dont know that culture, one could argue you dont know moto culture too. mods vs rockers, ton up etc etc Just hope he rights the ship and we see the company grow! -unfortunately I think low cost entry level bikes are going to have to have outsourced foreign parts. -Would love to see the KTM cup in MotoAmerica (like moto3) become the EBR cup w/ 400cc spec bikes. The name gets out there, entry level racers and riders get their first EBR and then move up to supersports or superbikes. |

I ride a Vespa. 1978 P125X with a Pinasco 177 kit with ported cases and expansion chamber exhaust. It is a hoot to ride and I think less of anyone saying otherwise. |

What a day! Bruce Belfer and Erik Buell. The B Brothers. Sounds like the band is back together with a new member. These two may not be seeking rock star status but they've got it in my book! Thanks guys! G |

I'm optimistic and, based on what little I know of Mr. Belfer, I can't think of a better fit. I love that an American company made the purchase. I prefer to buy American made products when I can and this is exciting for the future of American sport bikes! |

I may not have bought a new Buell since 1998. But that S3T is still my daily ride with over 70k original miles. And I'm still a Buell fanboy. Welcome to the family Bruce!!! Can't wait to see what's next for EBR. BTW...I'd really like a sport or adventure touring bike (just saying) |

I am pretty sure RD rides a Vespa. He hauls it around in a big cooler on the back seat of his Uly. |

Dirty rotten.... If I rode a Vespa, it would be with ATGATT and I'd be smoking piglet at the track with it.

This Vespa stuff is hysterical. I bought it for a tradeshow prop years ago and had it painted by a well known Asbury graffiti artist. It's too small for me by a lot. But it taught me a few things getting it running. EBR is Erik Buell Racing and always will be. His innovations and leadership of the team he assembled are the reasons we are all here. Myself included. Time to get to work building World Class, American Made Sportbikes. Engineered By Riders (tm) Bruce |
