I hadn't been on 2 wheels in about 4 years, having left behind my old GS750ES when I moved. A friend of mine owns two Buells. After listening to him tell me the story of Eric Buell and watching a few of his videos, I just had to get back on 2 wheels asap and show some support for Buell (better late than never). I purchased a 2003 Buell Blast. Yes its small and doesn't fit my size well, but man is it fun. I have put 2230 miles on it and road through two rain storms in the two months that I've owned it. This will be the first in my collection as I am determined to buy every Buell/EBR model there is. It may take a while but I am hooked on Buells. |

Oh wow- GS750ES. Probably 1981-3. I grew up lusting after an XN85. My first bike was an '81 TS125, cafe'ed out, until a meat did a left turn in front of me, then ran. The P3, Blast, will suit your needs more than you know. Especially if you follow the maniacs here. No need to cube. You've been assimilated. |

Welcome. My wife had a Blast for a few years and it was so much fun to ride. Well, after EZ taught me how to tune the sportster carb the previous owner put on it. I was sad to see it go but she decided she wanted something bigger and couldn't deal with the bug eyes on a XB so got a ninja. I expect I will probably buy another some day just for fun. Robert |

Real nice work EZ! I plan to do some mods over the winter. I've almost put 6000 miles on the blast now. Been off the road for a couple weeks. Had to get my exhaust welded back together. Worn out front mount allowed it too much room to move and snapped the pipe in two. Looks like it was welded once before by previous owner and broke right at the top of that weld. Made a new bushing for the front mount tonight and hope to be back on the road tomorrow. |
