We are sharing our 58th year of being a 1957 model. I hit it at the fifth of the month. We are right at that stage where we are nearly worthless physically as far as the job market goes, but still viable in that people need us for what we know. The transition to totally worthless is nearly at hand! Of course the alternative is dead, so we might as well stick around and make the people around us miserable. It's kind of fun! Ever have one of those days that you can hardly get out of bed, take your meds, bitch about aches and pains, limp out to the garage breathing like you are carrying the Titanic on your back, having to stop twice in the first hundred feet because you are dizzy, fire up the Buell, throw your leg over(well pick it up and toss it over) and ride off like you are thirty again? That is why my Uly won't be leaving me anytime soon as long I can help it.
