Cool find, I was more interested in the "Dual Sportster" on the right side of the page. Don't let City see it he'll get all unnecessary over it. |

Meh. It's pretty until you see the repurposed Gixxer/Ninja plastic, which does nothing to help the aerodynamics... or motor. XBRR, anyone? |

Rear sprocket looks TALL. As I said, meh. I appreciate Bimota greatly, but this is a mashup. |

Between motor and front wheel, down on the bottom, same spot it is on the 1125R/1190RX |

He's got some track video of it too and interesting build interview. Apparently he built a transmission case for it because the stock was too long for his plan. I remember back in the early 90's a British guy built a big twin sport bike. It didn't have any plastic on it mostly aluminum. I liked it and the idea of a big twin in one. They can build some ungodly torque. I rode a chopper with 6" over wide glide and 120" Keck. I could wheelie at will in 3rd gear. This was about 16 years ago. I'd love to see an engine like that in a sport bike configuration just for shits n giggles if nothing else. |

OK, I stand/type corrected. Not trying to be negative, but... it sure is purty. I could never fabricate anything NEAR as cool, at this point in time, with my skill set. Good on the peeps for the hella good effort. It does look fast. |

I firmly believe we're ONLY here for the shits and giggles. That's why I'm putting a ride on a Feuling W-3 motored bike on the bucket list... Well, seriously, wouldn't Jesus approve?!!? (Message edited by 86129squids on June 16, 2015) |

How much horsepower can they seriously expect to get from that motor? This has been done to death. Cool to look at, yes... but it's still a tractor lump. |

"How much horsepower can they seriously expect to get from that motor? " depends on mods, some BT motors make big HP (seen dyno sheets with over 200 to the wheels out of a big twin...and still had an on board starter etc/was street legal) |

seen dyno sheets with over 200 to the wheels out of a big twin Ok, and the reliability of that 200hp twin is... what... rebuild every run? Every other run? |

every other race or two we're talking race bikes (that was what was posted), so whats it matter? Besides, you asked how much power they thought they could get, I answered that |

The website describes it as "Harley Powered Sport Bike" I do appreciate your answer, though. I recognize that you're knowledgeable on the subject. |

Been done befoe It's cool in it takes some talent to make happen, but it's starting on the wrong foot. Spondon has had an XL frame kit for ages Why not just make it easy and use a tuber or XB? |

He brought a couple bikes to the San Mateo Motorcycle show last year, and they seem very nice. What I'd like to know is how they come up with their frame configuration, like rake trail, swingarm pivot location, engine positioning, etc. Is it all just seat of the pants, I can't believe he has a computer program that does it, and its a one or two man shop, not like he has an engineering department. There's so many variables, how does he ever know what's the optimum? |
