Looks like I will probably get poured on, but it's about the only time I can do it... If anybody fells compelled, drop me a PM with your number if you happen to be along the way, having a contact or two along the way never hurts. Not 100% on the path I will take at the moment, likely just play it by ear and try to avoid the raindrops. Looking at the most direct route (gotta get back for work) has me taking I-26 to I-40 to I-24 to I-64 to I-70, so if the weather holds out, that's the way I will likely go. If time permits, take the twistier route! How much of the Blue Ridge Parkway could you do? Answer: AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!!! Holler if you pass through Maryville TN- Deal's Gap/The Dragon is basically in my backyard. However, the Cherohala Skyway is MUCH more enjoyable. LOTS of great roads around here!
