Not exactly something that fits in the bike parts wanted area, so thought I should ask here. Anyone have a Motorola SB6121 cable modem sitting around that they don't want? Need one for a friend on a tight budget. And before anyone says "why not free up funds and drop the internet?" she is nearly completing a bachelors degree to try and elevate her working conditions, as well as daughter in middle school, so the internet is very important right now. All her classes are online, and her daughter has a bunch of stuff she is expected to work with online. Currently a Clear subscriber but looks like could save about $20 a month with a low level cable plan, but only if she doesn't need to rent the modem from them. Anyway, if you have one sitting around, let me know. Older or slower models are not allowed to be activated, even though they would work just fine. Will be on Time Warner cable. Thanks. | ||
