None of you know them, but the family needs as much support as possible, from every angle we can find. Claire's father Curtis is a friend of mine; he and his brothers are The Knight Brothers, a band I work with. They are some of the sweetest, most amiable folks I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, and I can't imagine how difficult this must be for Curtis and his wife and 2 kids, not to mention all of the brothers and their families. These are some of the most wonderful people I've ever known, and this is such a horrible loss. The link goes to a video of the news story. Top photo is actually a video. Curts daughter Claire, 17, was killed in a collision with a school bus yesterday morning. Police have ruled out texting, her phone was in her back pocket. She was a good student, singer, fluent in ASL and already accepted to college. Such a devastating loss. | ||
