This cold weather is putting a HUGE hinky on me finishing up the install.
I need to get on the roof and the roof is covered in snow.... By the time I'm able to finish, I wont need the heat anymore.

That is a good looking stove and set up. Too bad about not having it going for this cold rush.

I bet it'd be nice for you and the wifey to put a love seat in front of it and sip a little glass of wine while you stay nice and warm. You could put up an HD TV with one of those mood flame videos.

Well.... all I need to do is cut a hole in the roof and finish running the exhaust pipe.
I have about a foot of snow up there and its a 8/12 pitch roof aka 33.75 degrees.
Now, I know that doesn't sound that steep... but it sure feels that way even on a nice warm sunny day.
Add some snow to the mix... and I will be waiting for awhile before I can build a fire.

I got up on the sunny side of the roof last Saturday and pushed all the snow off the shady side.
The shady side is where the chimney is going.
It snowed about 5 or 6 inches that Saturday night....

Yesterday it rained. When I got home there was still snow on the roof.
When I went out this morning it twas gone......
NOW... there is another blast of the white stuff headed my way for this evening.

Can I get a

Nope, no breaks for you! This winter sucks! 6 hours to chisel off the 1+ inch of ice off the drive! arms feel like wet noodles

left work early today because the roof was clear.
It took about 2 hours to complete the install.
It is 70 degrees in the house and climbing
It is 19 degrees outside and dropping

That Pharrell Williams song "I'm happy" is playing in the back of my mind....
