That's an annual thing. The Buellers are SCABs.

Some get really into it show up with steel shoes and siped tires. When I did it I just tried to not crash or be crashed into since I had to ride home.

Read some of the comments, some pro some not. Wrong bike, wrong gear, wrong tires. Really!? Racing is racing, period!

My father asked me if I was hot rodding his car last night. I said, Dad, it's a 64 Rambler with a 6 banger! He said, "you can hot rod anything!"

That video just proved him right!

There was a class for 883 Sportsters for quite a long time.

In the past few years there's been pro teams running a stock framed Ducati and a Suzuki Ninja 650. Later they were both equipped with custom frames, but it goes to show.

What's a Suzuki Ninja 650?

Dutch, that...is...INSANE! The one dude went down at least three times - E for effort (and B for beer?!?) There's not enough alcohol in the world to get me to do that on my Road King.

A zillion years ago Latus Motors sponsored a HOG ride to Portland Speedway (Raceway?) to watch the races. It's a paved short-track, and in the group ride there were four million, eight hundred and forty-four thousand, seven hundred and seventeen Harleys...and two Buells. : )

I was on my S2 Thunderbolt, and there was another rider I'd just met on another Thunderbolt (this was before the S1 Lightnings hit the street).

So the big deal of this ride (parade) for me was that at intermission all of us got to do two hot laps on the track. I was pretty stoked. Me and the other guy on the Buell just had a ball, haulin' arse down the straights and dragging pegs in the corners, eatin' up the frikkin' Harleys like petrol-powered PacMen.

Well, two laps went by in a flash, of course, but no one wanted to quit! They had a couple of flagmen trying to get us to exit the track, but no one did, so I didn't either. We ended up doing five or six laps, pretty much balls-out, before the track workers ended up making a human barricade to force us to get off the track. It was nuts, but NOTHING like in the vid you posted above.

I'd love to give Roland Sands a run for his money. Anybody got a Buell I can borrow?? ; )
