Ulywife, PM replied to. I've been thinking about selling these on ebay for the last few months because I need to clean out my clothes closet. I sold my XT about 2 years ago and always felt kinda funny wearing Buell shirts when I don't even own one. I can't think of a better way to help out a fellow Bueller in need and make my wife happy at the same time! All shirts will be laundered and folded by my wife....trust me, you don't want me to do that . Most just have dust across the top of the shoulders from being on a hanger in my closet. Each shirt was only worn a few times and come from a non smoking household. Once the auctions get underway, I've got some Buell parts and pieces that I can offer as well. Get well soon Glitch! Dan |

UPDATE FROM ANN! Ok...I've had a shower, ate some food, lost my s*^t a couple of times and now I'm ready. Here's the Glitch/Dave update: The surgery went very well - much better than even the neurosurgeon predicted. He said the infection had made a perfect path into his brain - like punching a hole in a wall. It went through the sinus, the skull, the dura and into the brain. He was able to follow the path of it and get it all cleaned out. There were several other small areas that he was also able to clean out. The brain itself had infection in the crevices and folds of the brain and was red and inflamed, which he flushed as best he could. He said it will be up to the antibiotics to take care of the rest. He also removed the front sinus like he said and now he has titanium plates in his forehead to hold it all back together. (Knee pucks in his forehead? Lol!) The additional 2 areas of infection he found were able to be drained easily. His brain itself on the left side is inflamed/swollen from the infection and the trauma. He explained that anything done to the brain causes a type of trauma. Because of this, seizures are still an immediate risk. It will take time for the brain to reset and heal itself, along with the antibiotics he will remain on. They have cultured the infections and will know in a couple of days wha kind of antibiotic cocktail they need to prescribe. Due to the trauma and swelling of his brain, he will remain in a medically induced coma for the next several days, possibly weeks to give the antibiotics time to work and for the brain to rest and heal. He said "he's in for the fight of his life over the next few days", but that he feels he's up to it. He assured me that he sees Dave in there every time he's examined him, and he knows he's fighting to come back out. His heart and blood pressure are very good, and he's young and strong. Once the brain begins healing, they can work on bringing him out of the coma and then it can be assessed to what damage might have been caused from the trauma and the seizures to begin whatever therapy is needed. He said, "I haven't known him as long as you have, but I'd dare to guess he's pretty stubborn." If you had any question as to how stubborn Dave is, they were having trouble getting him sedated for the surgery. The anestheseologist joked that "we need him sedated, but we also need him to have a blood pressure". The man wasn't going down. After they brought him back to the room, supposedly in a coma, he will still have moments where he moves his head and is trying to raise his left arm to get at the breathing tube. His nurse would come in and give him "a little bonus" dose through his IV. The man won't even stay in a coma for cripes sake! The nurse said that the doctor will probably order something stronger to put him into a further sedated state so the healing can begin. So, yes, he's in a coma. Yes, he has a breathing tube and 4 IV's. Yes, right now he has a Frankenstein forehead and a gnarly incision from ear to ear across the top of his head. Yes, he's saying "bite me" to the sedation. And yes, we have a long journey ahead. But each of us - me and the boys and his family - are at peace and hopeful. Because we see that he is resting. He is comfortable. He looks very, very good given the circumstances, and we know just how much fight he's got in him. We know, beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is going to come back to us just as soon as he's able. And he knows, wherever it is that he's trapped that we are right there with him. We'll fight for him when he's too tired. We'll fill him with love and hope when his falters. With the strength, stubborness and fight that he has passed on to these boys, the immeasurable amount of love we have for him, my "I don't think so" attitude, and the amazing outpouring of love, support, prayers and good vibes sent from each and every one of you, he will prevail. How dare some stupid infection think it's just going to come in and take him. It just didn't know who it was messing with. We are all at peace and are anxiously awaiting the return of our king. I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again, and keep on saying it. Thank you straight from all our hearts for the love, support, prayers, encouragement and blessings you all have sent to us. Whoever is at the helm, please be sure to share this on Badweb so everyone there can know where we're at and receive our thanks. And Graham Chili Mansill, I am happy to report they left his sideburns in tact. |

Really great to hear the surgery went well, it's hard to imagine how difficult this must be for Ann and the family. Fantastic to hear about the fight still inside Glitch, and Ann's sense of humour shining through it all I am of course relieved to hear the sideburns are unscathed, lol |

Saro!! It's been forever, dude. Good to see your name on here. Thank you, brother. ALL Y'ALL! The auction starts Monday morning! Clean out yer garage and closets and post up whatcha got! If you need help hosting or posting pix, let me know. Kristi, Court and I will "format" this thing, so don't worry about the presentation, just PLEASE post up something (or multiple somethings) that you think someone else would want enough to bid on. This is for Glitch and Ann, and they can use all the help they can get right now. I'm all out of "Buell-valuable" stuff; it's all been donated away. So here's what I'm leading off with: A BNIB Ruger 10-22 rifle, new Ruger BX-10 and BX-25 mags, a baker's brick (555 rounds) of Winchester .22lr ammo, new Tasco red dot scope, new Allen (made in USA) soft case, and I'll cover shipping to the winning bidder's FFL. Watch for the auction, including pix, first thing Monday morning. Let's roll, people!!!!!!!!! |

Thanks Ferris! For those of you who weren't around for the Matt Ware auction in 2008 or the Rainey auction in 2011, here's the short and sweet of it: All auction items need to be posted in Quick Board. 1 - post your item (please put AUCTION in post title with your description). We will format and add info we need for tracking. 2 - include an ending date for your auction. All auctions will end at 11 p.m. eastern time. 3 - Once auction is over, I will notify the winner. They will provide payment and a mailing address via email. 4 - Once payment is received, I will notify seller of payment and item(s) can be shipped. Thanks again to Blake for his blessing to run this auction for Dave and Ann. Most of all, thanks to Buellers for being the best folks in the world! Can't wait to see what everyone has to offer up! Kristi

Let me dig out parts and pieces for a reloading setup (heavily used but fully functional Lee single stage, a solid setup for pistol or rifle, with powder measure, scale, manual, hand primer tool, etc). And I have a batch of cartridge heater controllers printed circuit boards laying around that I just need to order semiconductor components for... Let me do some digging... |
