I'm in if it gets me & my family green cards. My wife says she wants her face on the currency though. I tried to explain that it's a town not a country, but she's already decided she wants to be mayor/dictator with loads of laws like, jail time for people who spit and an interdiction on beard growing for bald people. I have a feeling that if she gets in power it'll be a ghost town again in short order. | ||

I find it odd there is an entire abandoned town in Connecticut. It's not as if the town is in the middle of Nevada. Plus, from the pictures the buildings appear in remarkably good shape for a) their age and B) being abandoned. | ||

I already live in CT, and at the rate that people are leaving..there should be many more towns to purchase in the future. It is a nice place, only problems are taxes and incompetent government(s)....pretty much like it is everywhere else. | ||

I heard on a documentary show last summer that you could own Detroit by just having the balls to sign for it. It comes with all of it's own existing problems just like a smaller town would. | ||
