Don't be alarmed but Ebola is here now. The subject is worth it's own thread, because it's not political. The difference that uncontrolled immigration from central America is going to make in this case is tiny.

I'll address that on the Ebola Thread.

IF it turns out we have a plague with many vectors coming across under the Obama Border Plan THEN feel free to comment, on this thread.

Until then carry on with honest factual commentary on the SOB. I mean CIC.

Apart from politics it makes sense to send help for the security of the growing hospital camps that are starting to cover Africa. I don't want to send our military to do it, and I can see some really BAD issues with asking US Army troops to protect a bunch of sick people, then have insane rules of engagement that keep them from defending themselves!!!!

What kind of BS orders do you think will be given our troops? When, not if, they find themselves defending a refugee camp that is attacked, will they be allowed to shoot the incoming mob? Or do they have to die? Or do the FRACKING UN thing and let the Mob take the people they are charged to protect?

I have very little faith this Administration will not make it worse than I can imagine.

Would you buy a used revolution from this guy?

Remember as you get your health insurance cancellation notice that barack Obama lied to you and his own staff KNEW that 200 million people were going to lose health insurance over the plan Obama Lied to you about, then broke that law to delay it's effects until after the election... twice...

Unless you had already bribed him to make your group exempt.

Obama is simply not a leader. He sits in his castle behind the moat with the drawbridge up and spouts meaningless words. The shame is that the American People voted for this fool....twice.

I read somewhere that our military heading to the ebola zone is going to be building hospital facilities.its in our and everyone's interest to help end the contagion.

Don't let yourself become unhinged.

If that was directed at me, I am not unhinged, I have disliked obama long before he was elected, I maintain that he is lawless, and bent on destroying the US in any way possible.

I do not think ( My opinion ) that the Military should be used for this, we can't take care of our veterans but we are building a hospital in Africa?

How about we take care of our vets FIRST!

I read a story not sure of the source or its veracity, that aid workers trying to contain the outbreak were killed in a village in Seira Leone ?

If the military personnel volunteered then I am ok with it other wise no. it is an in appropriate use, but when has inappropriate ever stopped the campainer in thief...

According to a criminal complaint, Gonzalez told Secret Service agents after his arrest that he was “concerned that the atmosphere was collapsing” and needed to contact the president “so he could get word out to the people.”

I'm not even going to pick on the SS for this one.

The man wanted to see the President on a vitally important manner. Like attracts like.

The poor guy's problem is he didn't do it the established way. Donate a half a million dollars cash to the Obama Campaign.

That's how you get to talk to Obama.

If you still have a smidgeon of support for this cowardly, incompetent community organizer occupying our White House, listen to Judge Jeanine.

Her Opening Statement should be required viewing in our High Schools.

President Obama’s Illegal War Within Syria – Attacks ISIS Inside Syria With No Outlined Legal Authority, Syrian Permission, or Justification
Posted on September 23, 2014 by sundance

Just so we are clear on this – There is a HUGE difference between President George W. Bush attacking al-Qaeda (‘War on Terror’) within Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen, and what President Obama is doing now.

The most notable difference is President Bush had authorization and agreement, with each sovereign nation, to attack the terror entity within it’s border; Obama has no such agreement with Syria.

And remember, according to President Obama 2013, the “2003 George Bush war on terror is over“. OVER! Not to mention the post 9-11 AUMF was specifically only for al-Qaeda, and ISIS is admittedly, by Obama and al-Qaeda, not al-Qaeda. So what exactly is the “legal authority” President Obama is using?

Secretary of State John Kerry would not answer that question to congress last week. Senior White House National Security and Foreign Policy advisor Susan Rice would not answer that question last Friday. White House spokesperson Josh Earnest would also not answer that question last Friday. President Obama’s chief of Staff, Denis McDonough, would not answer that question on Saturday, and U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power would not answer that question on Sunday.

The mysterious “legal authority” is said to exist, but has never been outlined.

Yet on Monday the attacks began.

Under what legal authority? We are not under attack, this is not a defensive decision. This is 100% offensive.

...There are only two legal ways such offensive action could be taken without the request of Syria to do it:

1.) Congress declaring war on Syria, like they did for the war in Iraq. Or…

2.) The U.N. Security Council authorizing the U.S. to attack an entity within a sovereign nation, somewhat like Libya 2011.

Congress has not declared war on Syria, and the U.N. has not authorized any such action.

I can agree with an outcome, but be concerned at how we got there.

Another blow to the rule of law though, and completely unnecessary. All because we don't have grownups in the White House. Just do the &*&^&*( paperwork and process please, like previous administrations have tried to do.

And puts us at war with the Russian Empire.

I can agree with an outcome, but be concerned at how we got there.

Agree with that 100%. The end does not justify the means. Beyond that, the objective should be made clear. Who are we at war with at this point in Syria? Is it only ISIS, or is the Syrian government a target too. Hard to tell given recent threats that have been given to Bashar al-Assad. If we don't have a clear understanding of who we are fighting, it seems a clear bet that Syria may feel slightly threatened by an air war being waged in their country. That does put us in a precarious position with Putin. Then you have the generals who have come forward saying that the advice of the military has been ignored. It's terrifying to think that BO is doing this without taking the advice of his military advisers, given his incredibly poor record on understanding past military actions. At best we are likely to see a clusterfail. This could easily turn into WWIII. It's possible history will look back on see that we are already in WWIII. I hope not.

According to news reports, the US let the Syrian government know what was about to happen. That's not the same as asking permission, but it's also not the same as Syria thinking we're attacking them. They don't want these bastards taking over Syrian territory either.

This is 100% offensive.

Such a paradox.

The islamic state is offensive, in which ever way you choose to read that.

The best defense is a good offense. We have not maintained the offense against the islamic empire. And that is why we're in the situation we're in today.

Islam has never not been at war with the rest of the world. The rest of the world just didn't understand it.

Most of the western world STILL doesn't understand it.
