They are trying their hardest to introduce the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus . . . but their site keeps crashing.

From what I am seeing it's an amazing device . . . particularly if you are a gamer who wants to play while on the move.

So far . . . nothing that would part me and my $$.

Well. . I may have to take that back . . . they are in the process of revolutionizing the small camera, still and video . . .

I see they are on track with more 4 year old technology... bump to print, etc.

All my drivers with iphones have problems communicating. Can't fax, scan, upload, integrate, none of it. I'm always waiting for their scanned documents to come through, struggling to hear them talking on the phone, and it doesn't matter what service provider they use.

All new hires must have Android phones, the iPhone users are all grandfathered in.

Pwnzor, switch them to Windows Phone. Easier to use than iPhones, also not stuck in the 19th century with features. Cortana blows the doors off of Siri, while being more functional than Google Now : )

What I am seeing around looks good, now multiple choices on screen sizes to add some variety.

For those of you far more fluent . . . I am sure you are right.

For me . . lazy, hard headed and in my sunset years . . . Apple just . . . well "works". I do something on any of my machines and it's on the desktop, laptop, and both the iPhones and iPad air console mounted in the work vehicle.

For doing cross country transmission line work . . . the system kicks ass . . . . I, over 100 miles of Right of Way . . .traversing rock climbing schools near Mohonk in a 4WD vehicle . . always have complete sets of prints which I have linked to aerial views, bolting schedules, helicopter capacities and crew availability.

It's kinda funny . . .all the "yutes" are blown away . . those of you who know me know that "organization" is not my long suite . . but a construction magazine called me the "Henry Ford of power line construction" . . .it's cause I'm lazy . . I admit it.

I won't change phones but dig some of the things they are doing.

Indeed cloud sync is a wonderful thing Court, I use it day in and day out for work and personal stuff. Out in the field, scan some barcodes into a spreadsheet on my Windows Phone, get back to my desk and then open the document to quickly and easily manage the numbers. Wallpapers, apps, settings, and so on syncing between my two work desktops, my 10" tablet, my 8" tablet, the monstrous gaming PC, and my home theater PC. Even get quick and easy access to my Onedrive on my Xbox too. Great times we live in.

As for apple, I personally think they are absolutely nuts for wanting $349 for the ugliest and likely least functional smart watch. I wish the Microsoft SPOT watches still worked

I was using Google for years and switched to an iPhone 5 last September and I really like it! It just simply works and does everything I want it to do! And the best part was I got mine free!

I've had IPhones for a while. Some days I miss my Palm Pilot.

The IPhone is a decent unit, though if I had my choice I'd probably choose a Samsung Galaxy. Weatherproof, more open operating system, better bluetooth support (i.e. ECM spy), bigger screen (Apple is now catching up).

I like the Android OS. In some ways, my old Palm Pilot was the best of the bunch (remember when batteries lasted a month?!?!)

My wife likes Apple.

I like the Samsung Galaxy phones. It has more storage and a bigger screen. I like pics and music. All the rest means nothing to me.

The HTC phones are quite highly rated as well.

People buried in their phones has become the norm.

My most favorite phone has been my current HTC One (M7).

I will continue to buy HTC units.

I have owned 5 Motorola products. I will not own another. I was a devoted Blackberry fan until they stopped innovating.

My wife loves her Samsung Note II. Gigantic sucker.

Seems like everybody I know with Iphones has no trouble with them, has old ones that just won't break, I only hear about Iphones being replaced for stuff like running them over or "gotta have the new one". Seems that all the other makes I see people I know replacing regularly for whatever reason, breakage, malfunction, whatever. Not a scientific study, just what I've noticed.

Now if you need that windows type stuff, that's another discussion I am simply not qualified to have. I started out a PC guy and was converted to Mac 10 years ago, although I must admit since Jobs died, Apple products are not what they used to be, I could well see going back to the dark side next time I need an upgrade.

I'm probably on my 3rd generation IPhone, and I've had 3 break for random unknown reasons. Apple only honored one of the three warranties (one they said "must have gotten wet", which there was a class action against them later for, the other they said was too old).

So 3 of my 6 IPhones broke. Not a good record, but thats a lot of computer in a pretty small package getting the crap beat out of it day in and day out.

HTC One Mini.

Best smartphone I've ever had. It took a header off the top of my van the other day, hit the top right corner, bounced, then slid face down across the pavement.

Barely a scratch on the plastic ring that surrounds the metal case.

I've had 1 iPhone failure in the 7+ years I've had one. A week after I got the original iPhone the lock button went dead. Obviously replaced for free. Since then I've had the 3G, 4 and 5 all for at least 2 years each with no issues.

I've had 5 Iphone versions.
the last 4 versions have all been replaced under warranty for something or another. Hell, the iphone 4 and 5 both replaced twice each.

BUT, I love the Iphone. love the setup.
(My wife has had the 5 for 2 years with ZERO issues on hers). I set my alarm for 3am the other night so I could order the 6 for the wife and I.

(I've tried other phones for a bit that friends have and can not do it!)

I don't care for Apple computers much though, I bought an apple mac mini to "try" their PC side and i'm just not a fan. Ended up buying another Toshiba notebook. But the mac mini is great on the living room TV for my daughter to watch netflix on :-)
