"If I have to explain, you wouldn't understand."

What a pathetic claim to make that somehow that post was racist. What a pathetic tactic to have to fall back on. Why don't you point out how transparent the Regime is to actually refute it rather than whine that a post is racist? Maybe do this, tell us what criticisms can be made of his actions that are not racist. What are your criteria? Then tell us what attacks from the Left of Col. West, Sec. Rice, and Justice Thomas are racist - any?

If the Left didn't have a double standard, they wouldn't have any. (Numerous sources)

Amen, brother. My respect for Allen West (and Tom Cotton, Mia Love and Herman Cain, to name a few other prominent blacks) is well documented here on the board.

When Mr. Cain announced his run for president, the beating from the left and the mainstream media (yes, I repeat myself) was swift and without mercy (or merit). They could NOT have a conservative black man gain ANY traction.

They, sadly, were successful.

Same with Allen West. The vote fraud that took place on behalf of Patrick Murphy in West's bid for another term as Congressman was breathtaking in scope.

Same problem from the left's point of view, only more so this time: You can NOT have a conservative black man - in this case a sitting congressman - gaining any traction. West was (and still is, in my opinion) a potentially viable candidate for the presidency, and they figuratively KILLED him via vote fraud down in Florida.

Pity; he's still my #1 pick for President. It has nothing to do with his skin color, and EVERYTHING to do with his values, and his absolute, undying reverence for our Constitution.

BTW: Do you know why Andrew Breitbart got his start? He watched Clarence Thomas get crucified by the left during his confirmation hearings, and it pissed him off. His political activism all stemmed from what he perceived as unfair treatment of a man.

A black man, as it turns out.

RIP, Andrew.

>>>>If you can't see the racism in that posting, you're either a racist or a fool.

Fled:

I'm neither and the statement is dead accurate.

The guy is not only not transparent, he's a blatant liar and quickly (the deems are finally coming on board in large numbers) shaping his reputation as the idiot he is.

He drew, yet another, line in the sand today and you can almost hear the laughter in the Press Room when he does stupid things like this.

The same guy who call ISIS "the JV" . . and now they are playing him like a cheap drum.

The guy is a complete and utter failure.

At least he's gonna be comfy the next couple weeks, while those folks die on that mountain, up in Martha's Vineyard.

The guy is a complete and utter failure.

With all due respect, it depends on what metric you're using to judge his performance. If you consider his infamous "fundamentally transform" speech early on in his pResidency, he's been an absolute success in nearly every category, and still has (at least) two and a half years to go to further transform us into something more to his liking.

I agree he's not very bright, but the people pulling his strings are frikkin' rocket scientists.

Best,

Maybe Fred is implying that Barry and racism are conjunctive. Where Barry is, racism also exists. It's a sort of symbiosis. He and his cronies feed (perpetuate) the race card, and the race card feeds him.

We've all been in agreement that this SOB needs impeached, but everyone says it can't happen.

Why can't it happen? Why has it not happened yet?

It can only happen when there is political will. Harry Reid must be dethroned first and foremost. Boehner needs to grow a set. Right now, it is the Democrats who keep talking about impeachment in order to fire their base. If America regains the Senate in November, then we can start talking impeachment. But not before, with the exception being Quickboard.

Nixon left 40 years ago. I wish Obama would do the same.

One of the very few things we know for sure about 0bama's familial history is that his mom was white. Thus, he cannot be considered, by definition, a black man, anymore than he can be considered a white man. Yes?

To answer that question you have to go back to precedent set before the civil war. A person who had one black parent and one white was called mulatto and was indeed considered "black" and was still a slave. In fact, 1/4 black (quadroon) or even 1/8 (octaroon) were still considered black. So if someone with one white (or asian in the case of Tiger Woods) parent identifies themselves as a black person they certainly have history on their side.

It's not just an American practice either. Australians have terms for mixed white and aboriginal blood. The Japanese use the term "hapa". All of this is an historical perspective and does not necessarily reflect my personal views nor is my intention to offend anyone.

Back from teaching about the "first dark age" and caught a good class on renaissance bee hive tech.

I'm planning a free hive to boost the population.... they get to keep their honey and spawn colony swarms.

I'm a conservationist....... not a conservative.
tomorrow I'll check the deer beds.

So...... what did I miss the O regime do? Besides deliberately abandoning former allies in Iraq and Afghanistan.

How often he poses like Mussolini seems to be an abnormal psychology issue if ironic to us who bother with learning history.

To answer that question...

Strok, thanks for the reply and the historical food for thought. It's a serious question on my part, one I've asked several times here on the board, but which prior to this I've never received any feedback on. My hunch is that most folks don't know the answer, or, more likely, it's a topic that's too hot to talk about for fear of being called a racist.

Thanks again.

I've posted so much positive stuff about Allen West here on the board it's hard to know where to begin. Here's Mr. West at his best, lifted from a running thread I started about him several years ago entitled "Congressman Lt. Col. (Ret) Allen West, R-FL" (http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/406 2/698112.html}

Listen to the man and imagine HE were President of this great nation instead of 0bama. Some day, some how, I hope Mr. West runs for the presidency. It'd by my honor to give him my vote. I hope I live long enough to see the day.

I guess I'm racist.

I like the idea of a black man as president. Or even more, a black woman.

Because they are black.

I think it can be a unifying factor.

Because of their skin color.

Of course, the first black president seems to be shooting holes in my theory, but the first test in any experiment often goes awry.

Oddly Jonah doesn't say a thing about Obama's skin color..... so he has to be racist for making competence and character important instead of race.

“Where was America?” asked Majid, a 28-year resident of Qaraqosh who fled his home this week with thousands of other Christians. He wouldn’t give his last name for fear of being targeted by the Islamists. He said as Peshmerga forces withdrew, the militants entered and took control of Qaraqosh, Iraq’s largest Christian city and home to some of the world’s oldest Christian communities. Some Christians have been told to convert to Islam or leave.

“They took the cross off our church and replaced it with a black flag of the Islamic State,” said Majid, who is seeking refuge in Erbil. Thousands of Christians have fled into the Kurdish territory and are sleeping on the floors of churches and community centers.

http://www.jerrypournelle.com/chaosmanor/the-calip hate-emerges/

...Israel and Hamas have achieved a day of truce, but of course it isn’t peace and won’t be. Having seen what Hamas managed to accomplish in secret – amazing complex of tunnels and launch sites – leaves me wondering what they could have achieved had they put that effort into building schools and hospitals and factories; could Gaza have become another Hong Kong? But there was no attempt to do that.

Of course that’s the fault of the Israelis, as everything is and always will be from the Hamas viewpoint. .......

Perhaps the President will call off a fundraiser or two and pay some attention to the situation in the Middle East? The time to have been sending in support for the Kurds has passed; now they are under direct attack from the Caliphate. It will take more than Navy and Marine air strikes to assure the survival of Kurdistan.

This crisis has been building ever since Bremer the Unsuccessful disbanded the Baathist Iraqi Army, and anyone who has not seen it coming ought to be dismissed as being incapable of service to the United States. Fortunately a number of officers have known this day would come, and we can hope they have been able to make some preparations; but it will be a near thing.

It is not too late for a combination of US Special Forces and CIS, with plenty of logistic support, to work with the Kurds to roll back the Caliphate; but whether we have the will to do so is another matter. If Iraqi Kurdistan falls, the Middle East situation become more serious than it has been for a long time. American meddling has brought about this result; we have a moral obligation to restabliize and then get out. I have little confidence that the President understands this.

He would not put forward a timetable to resolve the conflict in Iraq because it's his 'responsibility' to make sure U.S. personnel there are protected

Wow, did someone just tell him that was part of his job after 6 years? Because he's been endangering people pretty darn hard for all that time..... Then again, GWB didn't veto any budget for 8.....has Obama ever signed one?

Asked if the U.S.underestimated Islamic militants in Iraq, Obama said: 'There is no doubt that their advance, their movement over the last several months has been more rapid than intelligence estimates.'.......

The bulk of the rest of Obama's comments are either outright lies, blaming others for his minion's stupidity, or self praise. Unearned.

Of course, the general course of the betrayal of the Iraqi people was predicted by many, ( and repeated by me, here ) I don't think anyone predicted the detail that the guys murdering Iraqi's would be the people Obama supplied weapons to in Syria.

Further regarding charges of racism. We can't get a definition of what isn't racist if we point out wrong actions by Obama. But, we can see obvious racism here: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/08/11/w ashington-s-race-pay-gap.html

Maybe we'll get a well-reasoned discussion of why this isn't racism from our resident racism expert?
