story is my water pump is leaking 2009 cr WITH the updated clutch cover that has the updated seals already in there. well she's leaking again & I need to change the seals in there, some rotor seal & oil seal etc.

problem is the updated rotor seal accd to the dealer is no longer serviced by fuhd. sooo part number Q0431.3AM is what I need! and asap, the w.v. buell rally is in a week and a half....

if anyone has any parts hook-ups or knows a parts guy I would appreciate some input

ok just talked with the dealer again, turns out he checked with Harley parts & that's who said it was no longer serviced. he said buell parts are different & checked with the buell side & looks like it's still available, shoo! only it's been about 20 days since I ordered it so it's a race against the clock now. sorry for the panic mode!

Many many seals, like bearings, are standard items. Check the numbers on the old seal or take it to your local industrial bearing-seal distributor. They may well have one on the shelf.

thanks grump but this is actually a pretty elaborate seal. some kind of oil pressurized water pump rotor shaft seal...
the dealer called me back and said indeed they went on backorder but hooked me up with the only dealer showing it in stock out in cali. one phone call, $25 x-tra for two day air, and she's on the way! winner.
