I happened across a story where the author was decrying the fact that the automobile companies have not come up with a system to prevent kids and babies from dying from heat stroke when locked in a car.

How about this. Don't lock your kids in a car! OK, so what about kids that get in an unlocked car and lock themselves in? LOCK the freakin' car so they can't! Put the keys away!

What ever happened to personal responsibility? Are we too stupid as a species to grasp the concept? Could YOU "forget" you brought your baby or toddler with you, and leave him/her locked in a car?

Darwin awards should be reserved for the adults, and not be left to be endured by their offspring.

This exact scenario is going on right now here in the Atlanta area...

long story short, this guy leaves his kid in the back of his car instead of dropping him at the onsite daycare facility AT HIS PLACE OF WORK...

"he forgot"...

he was sending dick pictures to underage girls, and both him and his wife had searched the internet about how long it takes for a small animal to die in a hot car... immediately before this happened.

this is just one article about it

Pwnzor, it's been all over fox news.

Personal responsibility is a thing of the past. My failures are everyone else's fault.

Why should I bother being a productive member of society - shouldn't my country be focused on giving me free things? I am entitled.

A friend of mine developed a plan; everyone who wants to be on welfare without working will be put on a list, assigned a roster number. Every immigrant attempting to gain citizenship will be put on a corresponding list with corresponding roster numbers.

When the time comes for the immigrant to gain his citizenship, if the matching roster number welfare patron is still feeding off the system, he will be deported to the country from which the immigrant came.

In time, we would be trading the leaches of our society for people who want to come to America and do productive things with their lives.

the father needs stringing up by bollocks

Once he's found guilty, they should just put him in general population on a medium security or level 3 prison yard.

Natural selection will handle the rest.

system to prevent kids and babies from dying from heat stroke when locked in a car. Tell them you are writing a law for child protection to save kids' lives from adults: One it will require vehicle windows to lower anytime the internal temperature exceeds 105*F unless there is zero weight in all seats and all seat belts are unfastened. Two it will require the simultaneous euthanization of any parent terminating a pregnancy. Part Two will realize a cost savings in both procedure costs and burial cost. As it will only require one shot and one coffin.

We are all human and as much as we would like to think it can't happen to us, it can..

I know..

Don't judge without knowing all the facts.
