hugh - many independent people can do shirts for under 6 bucks each with a low minimum (25) I had single color, front AND back shirts made for 5.50 shipped. Hybrid- That's good to know for future events. In this case it was the first time we'd done T-shirts and I had no idea how much interest there'd be. So far, I only have orders for ~10 shirts. Of course, at $5.50 each, I guess I might have gotten a lot more orders! | ||

Just got back in from Vern's, dropped off the Triumph for a badly needed "makeover"- pretty sure it'll be done for the trip! Gonna still need to find a roomie, but I'll go ahead and see about room availability anyway. Getting ready to start sourcing odd parts to do the Sprint, including a good sounding exhaust can- might see about using some 1125R mirrors instead of stock. Heading to the classifieds now... | ||

Hugh, the name tag thing is a good idea. So many of the Buell events that I have gone to over the years was missing that informative bit. It seems especially important to those of us whose memory is nearly shot, when we gather for lunch or are sitting around a campfire harassing, or being harassed by someone. A lot of us have come to know each other from multiple events. That should not leave out the "new guys" who are BadWeB regulars that we just haven't put the name and face together. We would need to list the name and BadWeB handle to make it work.  | ||

  YEEHAAA!!! This is my lucky day, I just reserved the LAST room available at Skyline for Friday AND Saturday for the weekend! I'll be looking for a 'Squatch-snore tolerant roomie for those two days, the room has 2 queen beds. FWIW, for anyone just coming for Saturday only, as of this post time the owner, Mike, said he had one room left. I repeat, Saturday only. GAME ON!!!! +1 on the nametag bit- IIRC that had been done in the past at one of our gatherings in Suches GA. It'd be a LOT easier to associate a name AND a BW handle in person. Color me STOKED- now, I gotta source both a good tank bag AND a proper aftermarket exhaust can for my '02 Triumph Sprint ST! Anyone with good leads for those things, holler! Vern- Guess I'll get some nametags then. I'm checking to see if I can order something appropriate for a gathering of Buelligans. Brad- Glad you got a room. One of us (Rcontroler IIRC) picked Skyline on a whim for the first BITA meet, and we've been back every year since, one of the big reasons being Mike (the owner) is such a nice guy. He also rides, a BMW G650S he bought new last year IIRC. | ||

Micah, that would be super cool with me, my friend! At this time, the game plan is for me to take my honey to dinner and to see Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra at the Tennessee Theatre on Thursday night, then head out early with Vern to ride up Friday morning. I reserved the room both Friday and Saturday nights, told Mike the owner that I'd probably head out Sunday- BUT, I won't have to work Monday. Depending on your plans, it's doable to stay Sunday evening too. Back atcha! Let me know how things come together on your side, we'll plan together from there. If you need to get there Thursday, maybe you could go ahead and get set up in the room I've reserved. Stoke-o-matic! | ||
