No kidding. I don't see how they will make those specs, but if they do I want one!

The guy in the video on the super-motard on the battle trax course wasn't trying, or there was an issue with the bike he was trying to hide.

I'm too lazy on googling today with AMA live feed from Barber but I wonder if that's just a CNN "gee-whiz" article or if they actually won the DARPA contract (doesn't look like they are providing the bikes for Combat Air Control, just a candidate in the DARPA competition?)

The article just talks about the Combat Control mission and HOW they use motorcycles, not a word about the DARPA hybrid BRD. The website only talks about E-bikes: http://www.faster-faster.com/

Still would be way cool to have a decent performing hybrid!

It sounds like a list of good intentions. Sure you could make a hybrid that would make that kind of power on any type of fuel. But pending some advanced technology, it would necessarily be heavy.
