I was there last year. The menu is SLIGHTLY different from some of the others. For example, they did not have the "Tres Hombres" platter on the menu (which shocked the hell out of me). Fortunately they DID have the Pork-sket sandwich, which is my new favorite Dino menu item. | ||

Yea every location has variances in the menu. Brooklyn one has a plate called "Breakfast All Day" that ain't at the others, Harlem has Korean style ribs, which is missing elsewhere. | ||

I sent this to the Dinosaur the other day: I've been enjoying your BBQ for years, and every time I pass through Syracuse, I go out of my way to stop for a meal. I've eaten at your locations in Harlem (both the original location and the new location) and Troy, and am planning to meet with several friends from New York and New Jersey next Saturday in Stamford to try that location out. Why don't you offer the Tres Hombres Combination There? it's my favorite meal, and I was looking forward to getting it. I got this as a response: Thank you for the kind words about the Dinosaur. We are grateful that you have been going out of your way to dine with us over the years. It is true we don't offer the Tres Hombres on the menu, but we do offer a "Pick Your Own Combo" on the Stamford menu that will allow you to choose the same meats as the Tres Hombres, or to branch out and sample others. I guess I'll just have to Pick My Own Combo. I have a potentially great route planned for the ride home with a full belly. I'm going North to Bedford, NY, then I'll just head North on Rt. 22 until I get to Rt. 2 East then take that home. A good meal followed by a good ride. What more could one ask? | ||

Yeah, the Troy location had the "Tres Ninos," but not the "Tres Hombres." And their version of the Pork-sket sandwich lacked the jalapenos of the Syracuse (and other locations) version. | ||

Dudes I gotta bail . I want to take the Mrs. out to dinner as I didn't realize sun is fathers day it is also my 22 wedding anniversary so with the boys being home and family outing on Sun. Dinner at the Black Forest restaurant in Stanhope is on the menu. | ||

What I don't eat there can get put in a Doggie Bag and taken home. I have no problem enjoying leftovers. Ribs. Pulled Pork. Brisket. Beans. I won't eat breakfast or probably dinner, but I'm definitely going to pig out on lunch! | ||

Well; after all the anticipation, I won't be able to make it. There's an emergency at work and I'll be working until 3:00 AM. Then, I'm returning tomorrow for another long shift at 3:00 PM. I don't know if I'll have to work Sunday, yet. It depends on how much we accomplish tonight and tomorrow night. Damn. I hope you guys have a good time. | ||

Less than 16 hours. Dave and Crusty you will be missed. At least for both of you it's for the better good and not something bad. There will be more opportunities. I did hear there's a Ramble coming up. Hope the bike gets there and back. Did plugs and wires but it still bucks in third gear. Well, at least the other four are strong. Taking the scenic route anyhow. | ||

Great to see everyone again. My wife was also happy to see she wasn't the only woman present. We took the ferry from Bridgeport home and did, in fact, take a much needed nap while we were "at sea." Hope everyone else got home okay too. | ||
