Cornel- according to the hotel on-line reservations section, yes, they still have rooms available for the entire weekend: http://www.skylinevillageinn.com/ If the weather's good, after a day of hard riding, it's kind of hard to beat sitting out on their deck in the evening with a cold brew watching the sunset while looking over hundreds of square miles of North Carolina.  I just took off that weekend, figured it was a good idea, long time coming... On the 24th, I already took off, going to see Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra at the Tennessee Theatre. Tickets hanging on the fridge. Morning of the 25th, I'll head out with Vern on a bike. Not sure which one... Just as soon as I'd written in the schedule book for time off, I'm READY.  | ||
