Obama can't be this dumb and this inept. Can he? It has to be an intentional effort to harm the country. |

>>>Obama can't be this dumb and this inept. Can he? I, and I have to be careful here not to invoke any conflict of interest issues, think that the fact is he can be. I can't speak about the results of his college attendance or about the circumstances under which he gained admission. But . . . you can, it's public knowledge, read HIS book, his own words, about his experience while in college. You can read about "hardly ever attending class" and "smoking tons of dope on a daily basis". Temper the lectures you'll doubtless get about him being the Editor of the Harvard Law Review . . with the fact that he is also to only Editor to have never reviewed a law. The scarier part is the number of folks . . . who once on the government teet. . . . support this kind of a guy. Free generally isn't without cost. |

So, as I understand it, we have a pResident who doesn't like America, and wants to fundamentally change it, just negotiated the release of six prisoners who don't like America and want to fundamentally change it. Is that right? |

http://pjmedia.com/michaelledeen/2014/06/03/bring- them-down/?singlepage=true Everyone negotiates with terrorists. They always win. There's a reason. The planet can be thankful that I never had the desire to be President. My way of negotiating with, say, Iran, would be to call the head of state, and when I get the expected defiance, green light the orbital weapon strike, and keep him talking 'till the line goes dead. Then tell the WH operator to get the next guy in charge on the line, please, it could take a few days. Then again my answer to Saddam's regime was the "palace of the day club" where instead of invading, I'd hit a Palace every night ( a unique opportunity, He had a LOT of them, mostly chemical weapons equipped fortresses. ) and a Republican Guard & Secret Police facility every day. We'll never know if that would have worked now, but I liked the concept for it's elegance. I wouldn't be very popular, and I'm sure the History books would crucify me, but it'd be a much safer world for free people for a while. |

He abandoned his post. He left the base he was assigned to. He deserted, even before you consider the evidence of his making anti-America statements before deserting, and seeking the taliban to consort with them immediately thereafter. Article 85(c) "Any person found guilty of desertion or attempt to desert shall be punished, if the offense is committed in time of war, by death or such other punishment as a court-martial may direct, but if the desertion or attempt to desert occurs at any other time, by such punishment, other than death, as a court-martial may direct.” I wish they'd forgone the "or such other punishment as court-martial may direct". Should he be court martialled and proven guilty, I'm certain the minions of the Incompetent in Chief will decide that cake is a more suitable punishment than death. I heard on fox news that this was not the first time he abandoned his post. If that reporting is correct, this news should have reached his SGM, who should have extradited him back stateside, and his CO should have started the paperwork to chapter his stupid ass out of the army the first time it happened (I have seen that happen first-hand, and was glad to see the idiot go). Congratulations, worst president ever, you've just blasted a worldwide invitation to terrorist groups. Kidnap our soldiers, and we'll give you whatever you want in return, and legitimize your crappy band of monkeys by negotiating with you, like you're real humans. |

"this 10-thumbed administration"! Hilarious! When a president goes rogue By George F. Will, Published: June 4. What Winston Churchill said of Secretary of State John Foster Dulles — that he was a bull who carried his own china shop around with him — is true of Susan Rice, who is, to be polite, accident-prone . When in September 2012 she was deputed to sell to the public the fable that the Benghazi attack was just an unfortunately vigorous movie review — a response to an Internet video — it could have been that she, rather than Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, was given this degrading duty because Rice was merely U.N. ambassador, an ornamental position at an inconsequential institution. Today, however, Rice is Barack Obama’s national security adviser, so two conclusions must be drawn. Perhaps she did not know, in advance of the swap of five terrorists for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, the, shall we say, ambiguities about Bergdahl’s departure from his platoon in Afghanistan and the reportedly deadly consequences of his behavior. If so, then she has pioneered a degree of incompetence exotic even for this 10-thumbed administration. If, however, she did know and still allowed Obama to present this as a mellow moment of national satisfaction, she is condign punishment for his choice of such hirelings. read the entire piece: http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/george-f-wi ll-when-a-president-goes-rogue/2014/06/04/bb172cc2 -ec12-11e3-93d2-edd4be1f5d9e_story.html |

Bush the Younger. Dynastic language is important. Not a jr. Consider the opponent in Bush the Younger's re-election. Treasonous and oh so incompetent Kerry. We see how awesome he is as Sec State. You could argue what's his face in Obama jr.'s re-election was better but the media machine didn't tell you. Note that even with a D biased media Kerry wasn't a winner. In the same line of irrelevant argument..... Carter sucked big time, Bush the Elder gets mixed reviews and even folk who hated Bill Clinton admit he was a Statesman, competent, and knew how to work the system. Barry has none of those virtues. Seriously. He braggs he chooses who lives and dies. The last POS in office that insanely arrogant was LBJ. ( and they still watch LBJ's grave to keep the urine stench down ) (Message edited by aesquire on June 05, 2014) |

"Bush the Younger. Dynastic language is important. Not a jr. " Well, I was trying to be polite since I fondly refer to him as Shrub. Fits better than Jr. anyway. Agreed on the other points, though I still don't understand how people thought the former head of a spy agency was a good choice for President. Guess I know too much about him and his cronies from my time in the Navy... I hope in my lifetime, we see a change in the party structure, but since the big corporations and banks own politics, that won't likely happen. |

>>> I still don't understand how people thought the former head of a spy agency You'd do yourself a gross disservice if you assessed George Herbert Walker Bush on only one of the distinguished positions he held. Would it help you to think of him as a decorated Naval Aviator? How about an entrepreneur that started a very successful business on his own? And . . . quid pro quo . . . I'm trying to not dismiss the gorse stupidity of the current clown in charge based solely on his role running a neighborhood center in Chicago. Today . . . my challenge is trying to figure out why this information was so sensitive that it could not be shared with folks like Democratic Senator Diane Feinstein, head of the Intelligence Committee. She knew the most intimate details of the raid to kill Osama Bin Laden 2 months before it went down and kept the secret. However . . . in the instant case college interns working fort the summer knew and bragged to their parents about the imminent "prisoner" swap . . . yet it was considered too risky to let, as REQUIRED BY LAW, the proper folks, all with Top Secret Security Clearance know. The guy really is a f88king idiot. Thankfully . . he's smart enough to trot Susan Rice out and she brings a comic aspect that has everyone, including the mainstream media, laughing so hard it draws attention from The Amateur. |

Airbozo, You're no fan of Bush, anything, I get that. No problemo, dude. Every year that goes by I'm more unhappy with the actions of the Bush Presidency, both of them. I've got a much longer history of being unhappy with the Johnson Presidency. That Mother*&^%$$ put insane rules of engagement in place, refused to even try to win a war that MY classmates were dying in, and directly cost the lives of thousands of people, to zero good effect. Zip. We won't even get into his comment on how the Niggers were going to vote Democrat for a hundred years because he got the Republicans to pass an Equal Rights bill the Democrats would never pass. However, no amount of venom wasted on the rotting corpse of LBJ, or the smiling faces of Old Bushs, has a damn thing to do with the current guy and his utter disrespect for you, your country, the rule of law, or, perhaps most importantly, Your Civil Rights. Look at Fast & Furious. makes no difference if you think you have a right to bear arms in defense of yourself and your community, when the Justice Dept. orders guns illegally sold to Mexican terrorist Drug Cartels, for the PURPOSE of taking that right away from YOU, you have a problem. Especially if you live where this administration has decided to send criminals they let out of jail and bus to a different state, to Punish it for defying their Lord & Master. I see you are in Santa Clara, ( damn Vampires ) and won't be affected directly by what's going on In AZ. maybe. If you have a defense for that law breaking by This President, let's hear it. Telling us the Woodrow Wilson did it too does not excuse Barry. Besides, Woodrow sucked big time. He kickstarted the decline of your rights in favor of more power, for him. |

I figure we're just one powered paraglider flying past a phone camera in the wrong place to have an Executive order banning all Non-controlled flying in the US. This isn't paranoid delusion. look at the proposed rules over at the FAA. They are serious about upgrading their control over airspace, and a hang glider, paraglider, or sailplane all do this thing where they wander around looking for air currents, and don't do so under filed flight plans under direct control of a ground station. ( with, of course, the exception of filing for a block clearance to high altitude in Wave soaring ) This messes up the plan to control everything that flies. How else are you going to have Drones cruising the American skies? Hopefully the idiot things we'll have to dodge will have DVD's from Amazon, and not Hellfires looking for Illegal Ranching. |

Yes. We had a hard time swallowing perjury in a court of law. Clinton lost his license to practice law for that. I though shrub was one of the more clever anti Bush nicknames. We need a properly mocking one for Barry. It looks like the Prez was within his powers to negotiate with terrorists. The law he violated was signed by Obama who said at the time he signed it that he might ignore it. I can only assume he wanted OTHERS to obey some part he liked....... and since no law applies to HIM, why not sign it? |
