I don't know if Pwnzor's school was small, or red. Really doesn't matter. I also don't know if he lived right across the street. Certainly made the trip easy. Maybe he did live 5 miles away, and had to walk every day through waist deep snow. Uphill both ways. In which case I say 'Bravo'.
In any case, he did more than just hold down a chair while there, he actually got an education. And he took that and his personal initiative to both get and hold a job. A job that allows him to say "Things going great for me".
So please tell me - What about that qualifies him to earn your sarcasm and scorn? I would really like to know.
Pwnzor is another hard working schlum like me as well as a fine Conservative, freedom-loving American.
I am designing the computer chips that enable you to participate on Badweb and future things that you will simply have to have. Thanks for your support but it is unnecessary to respond to the Troll-like behavior of whatever fred/frank calls himself this morning.
However, I am tempted to clarify a point. While a student, I rode my motorcycle to earn my BSEE (Electrical Engineering) at the University of California at San Diego.
November is coming lets hope that enough seats change hands, "shitzeki" , joe barry and a cast of dozens are removed and perhaps jailed
Democrat vs Republican
same as
Coke vs Pepsi
Pretty much the same thing. They just have a different way of advertising the same product. The product they produce is the is the absolute worst example of leadership I have ever seen.
They all remind me of my first platoon commander I had in the Marine Corps. He would take us on platoon runs and he would fall out of his own run.... and he was the one setting the pace! We had so much respect for that POS
Do as I say.... not as I get to do on your dime.
Until politicians are held responsible and made to pay the price you or I would pay....
Nothing is going to change.
Shinseki just resigned.... what kind of golden retirement package will we get to pay for.... forever
Not to hijack the thread, but every time I see or hear Shinseki's name it reminds me of when he was CSA (Army Chief of Staff), and that damned black beret.
Here's one fellow who, after about a year in prison, as promised by Hillary, is now forever in custody to keep those who believe Obama's comment “the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam,” from killing him.
we strongly admonish those that of course imprison, target, arrest, detain, torture or limit freedom against reporters journalists (not directors obviously - f*ck them) for simply exercising their rights to air their story.
... Rules for us - are not the same as the Rules for the likes of y'utes.
The law requires the defense secretary to notify relevant congressional committees at least 30 days before making any transfers of prisoners, to explain the reason and to provide assurances that those released would not be in a position to reengage in activities that could threaten the United States or its interests.
Before the current law was enacted at the end of last year, the conditions were even more stringent. However, the administration and some Democrats had pressed for them to be loosened, in part to give them more flexibility to negotiate for Bergdahl’s release.
A senior administration official, agreeing to speak on the condition of anonymity to explain the timing of the congressional notification, acknowledged that the law was not followed. When he signed the law last year, Obama issued a signing statement contending that the notification requirement was an unconstitutional infringement on his powers as commander in chief and that he therefore could override it.
More of pResident BO simply picking and choosing what laws he will enforce and when. Tyranny? I think so. Time to document his list of tyrannies and this one to that list.
to be fair the director who was arrested at the order of the Obama administration, allegedly for parole violations, ( which I have no reason to not believe ) allegedly lied to his actors, and dubbed voices over theirs. I therefor condemn his actions in putting those actors in danger.
I only could stomach about 7 minutes of the 14 minute video, ( bad. I can deal with campy bad, even enjoy it. ) but at no time did I see a slander of The Prophet. True, it's been a few years since I read the Koran. ( still looking for the Burton translation, if you see one, please let me know ) I did not see any lies. ( the truth is bad enough )
OTOH telling the truth about the Prophet, or having an unpopular opinion about him, is more than enough to get you murdered in The New Normal of Obama support for Sharia law on those matters.
Since Obama should know these things, being himself an Apostate under sentence of death, this administration deliberately publicized the arrest, home address, location, and "objectionable actions", knowingly condemning this man to be murdered on the spot by any adherent of Islam.
Which is why he can never go home and remains to this day in protective custody.
Welcome to Monday morning Conservatives and future Conservatives. I am afraid that there is more bad news about the release of PFC Bergdahl as there are allegations that he is a deserter and Americans died searching for him. Note that this report is from CNN (Clinton News Network).
Fellow soldiers call Bowe Bergdahl a deserter, not a hero By Jake Tapper, CNN Mon June 2, 2014
(CNN) -- The sense of pride expressed by officials of the Obama administration at the release of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is not shared by many of those who served with him -- veterans and soldiers who call him a deserter whose "selfish act" ended up costing the lives of better men.
"I was pissed off then and I am even more so now with everything going on," said former Sgt. Matt Vierkant, a member of Bergdahl's platoon when he went missing on June 30, 2009. "Bowe Bergdahl deserted during a time of war and his fellow Americans lost their lives searching for him."
Vierkant said Bergdahl needs to not only acknowledge his actions publicly but face a military trial for desertion under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
A reporter asked Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel Sunday whether Bergdahl had left his post without permission or deserted -- and, if so, whether he would be punished. Hagel didn't answer directly. "Our first priority is assuring his well-being and his health and getting him reunited with his family," he said. "Other circumstances that may develop and questions, those will be dealt with later." ...
"I don't understand why we're trading prisoners at Gitmo for somebody who deserted during a time of war, which is an act of treason," Vierkant said.
But in the weeks before his capture, Bergdahl had made murky statements that suggested he was gravitating away from the soldiers in his unit and toward desertion, a member of his platoon told Rolling Stone.
“He spent more time with the Afghans than he did with his platoon,” former Spc. Jason Fry told the magazine in 2012.
I don't know what to believe about this yet. Strange turn of events. Sounds like the wrong person to trade for five very dangerous prisoners. I understand that Susan Rice hit the Sunday talk shows on this topic telling conflicting bits of stories. One is that they have been working on this deal for weeks now to make it happen. Also, that they couldn't give congress the lawful 30 day notification due to a sudden down turn in his health. The health thing might make sense if they decided they had to cut the 30 day period short midway through, but they simply never got the clock ticking. Doesn't pass the smell test.
Short form, we have to educate people that a President who is not accountable for ANYTHING is his administration he doesn't want to brag about deserves impeachment.
It would be preferable by far to vote him out of office, but since he lied his way to a re-election and will never suffer to be voted for again, that's not going to happen.
It would also be far better if Obama followed his own oath, and was not a criminal, but I'm not holding my breath for that.
Note that all references to the "problems" are the fault of Republicans.
I'm not sure when, if ever, the media will start brining us news again and not taking each and every issue and trying to spin it.
It **looks** like this guy is a a deserted and could be prosecuted and sent away for a long time.
I'll withhold judgment until something like facts emerge. But, until then, each time one of the members of his unit says something derogatory . . . you can bet it's due to being prompted by "Republican Strategists".
I predict we're going to see some very high value prisoners snatched now that we've made it clear we WILL negotiate with the Taliban.
Obama has done more to put soldiers lives in danger than the enemy ever dreamed of.
