The Russian word is the West is behind the coup in Ukraine and it's aggression against the peace loving Russians.

The Obama word is Putin is trying go restore his old Empire.

Since trusting either is foolish and not justified by past performance....... how about this for an unsubstantiated paranoid thought?

Barry is shilling for Vladimir. All his rhetoric is cover to let the Russians take much of the Empire back.

Sure Vladimir understands his system better than the radical student and chitown thug Socialist Party pol........ so Barry is in over his head.

I don't like that scenario. Nor do I defend it. But it does explain what's going on at least as good as the official dogma on both sides.

Another of those incredible statements by our pResident that the MSM managed to completely ignore. It would be quite interesting to know the entire context of that.

What did I say that was incorrect?

For fear of repeating myself. I'm not a Putin supporter. I do believe he has positioned himself and Russia in a more favourable place in this nasty little conflict and I've yet to see any evidence he has lied or done the damage in Ukraine the U.S has claimed. But the exposed meddling and lying of the U.S. administration in Ukraine is a matter of fact. This is what I'm 100% certain of. Which is a lot different a meaning from the pro Putin badge you're trying to pin on me, as I find his repertoire in the Ukraine problem more trustworthy than that of Obama's.

As there's no evidence whatsoever to support, never mind even suggest Putin is trying to recreate the 'old' empire, your theory doesn't hold water and is as you say, your paranoia.

cheer up - it is nothing of the shade that we have not seen with our own Gun Walking program across the US border

we should all be used to this by now - it is how the game is played.

I still have not heard a separation of the iconography of a historically Nazi Fascist arm band, and pole banners - but yet there are no fascists in Ukraine... and certainly the west would never align themselves with such a group.....

I've yet to see any evidence he has lied

you also failed to see any evidence that a pundit ( Goldberg ) took his comment from headlines even though I posted links to them and both assured you I had seen them AND noted that the word "Ukraine" had been changed over night to "Crimea" in a couple of cases.

Yep, one day the headline says "blah blah Ukraine", next day, same story, headline reads "blah blah Crimea". Ministry of Truth at work, aka retroactive rewrite of propaganda/news.

You are, of course, free to doubt any news report, especially if it's from a Communist source, since Communism is the Religion Of Lies.

I'm referring, of course, to Barack Hussein Obama.

Vladimir, isn't Communist anymore, is he?

BTW, what's the name of the novel that slams that Brit politician you didn't like because he "lied about WMD's in Iraq"?

Curious, because I have a hard time getting my mind around a universe where the US gave poison gas to Saddam, yet Saddam never had poison gas.

I'm sure this novel explains how all those Kurds could not possibly have died when they were gassed by Saddam, the UN lied about the poison gas shells they counted in Iraq, ( back during the Clinton Admin. ) the Polish troops lied about capturing a few mustard gas shells ( which, of course, could not have existed ) the multiple reports of IED's that used gas shells by mistake instead of explosive ones, and so forth.

I enjoy a good science fiction story.
The genre is often used for political commentary, especially in the old Soviet States, where being critical of the Powers That Be got you a trip to a "psychiatric hospital" for treatment of your mental illness. ( you have to be crazy to complain about paradise, right? ) But, if you set your story in a Martian Colony, you can get away with it.

Your opinion? It's why I asked of it. Doesn't take a genius to work out yours will be different from mine. Though your lack of one is noted whilst you continually trash mine ; )

Getting down to the regular state of killing, I've yet to see or even understand what is meant by Russia's fault?

I'm still waiting to see a real finger of blame pointed at Russia with absolute proof supporting accusations Russia are complicit in the all but civil war which is raging right now. You know, something on the level of Nuland's phone call or Kerry brown nosing with a Nazi.

I do recall reading those links and all that has been shown here of Goldberg, and addressed those issues back then. If I missed your point you're going to have to explain why?

As for novels, I don't read them, ever. If you want good reading about Iraq look no further than Dilip Hiro. I doubt there's a more accurate fact based source available than his books. Forget the novels ; )

My guess would be, to use against those firing the same weapons at them. Probably because that's where they came from in the first place.

Oh FFS dude.

Your first reply yes. In "quoting me exactly" you implied I was 100% certain about things a politician (Putin then) says or does, which clearly was not what I mean.

What I said (and you quoted exactly) was "I'm 100% certain Putin's a saint in this one", which is an opinion stroke figure of speech I expressed. Not one based on anything Putin has said or done either, but certainly more likely influenced by the likes of those representing the U.S.. Nuland's phone call instantly comes to mind.

Sometimes it's impossible not to believe what politicians say.

Wow. OK then.

There's no wow about it.

In the case of Nuland, your eyes and ears work the same as mine. I can't speak for your brain, but my brain understood what she was describing was who the U.S. administration wanted putting in Ukraine's government and other significant power roles.

All the persons she named in the phone conversation with Geoffrey Pyatt have assumed these exact roles, which the U.S. government has openly accepted and supports.

Just one example of when it is impossible not to believe what a politician has said. Usually always when they're caught with their pants down.

Now can we put an end to this silly diversion of yours which is not going to trip me up or show me as being thick as pig shit, despite your attempts to quote me out of context ; )

Whatever, I'm done playing dodge ball with you.

America is bad, Americans are stupid, you're superior in every way.

If you or anybody thinks for half a second that what we say here makes even the slightest difference in anything then you're not only thick, you're delusional.

I don't like our government any more than you do. This absolute joke of a president we have is something we brought on ourselves. We allow people to vote who have NO business voting whatsoever.

The constitution is out the window, everyone killing each other, and most have lost sight of what's important.

It's time to get our affairs in order, because this shit is going to hit the fan.

For my part, I can hunt, fish, and make basic medicines from indigenous flora. I'll last longer than most, and I am ready for natural selection to handle most of our problems.

Now, if only the power grid would go offline, we can get this party started.

Everything I have was from opportunities that I made happen - or I paid for.
I owe it nothing.
I am not its slave

And everything I do not have - is because I now see the lies and futility of it all. There is no more 'American Dream' - I am certain that it was dead before I entered college; with a tombstone over its head certainly by the end of the century.

And from the last 5 years - I can affirm, and state clearly - I am nothing to America. I am not an entitled entity, I am not a corporation, I am not a voter of the policy mantra in affect, I am not diverse nor inclusive line item minority, I am not creating a family and I am not buying another house. I am a nameless, faceless schlub, that is a fraction of a tenth of a percent of a statistic on somebody's chart somewhere.

I could disappear tomorrow and America would think nothing of it.
I owe it nothing.
If you are chained by the lies and policies that come out of DC because of history - and nationalism - then that is on you; but I attest - the Amerika we are today - is so far removed from what was created, what was founded, what is supposed to be the bedrock core of our character - that I want no part of it.

It is why I left
It is why I have no intentions of coming back.
There is no opportunity for me in America. None.

I own nothing, I owe nothing - I am not in America's interest - they can't control me through fear, threat, bribe, or intimidation.

PS - I am also Canadian and Choctaw - meh
