I do not advocate war, I'm just saying some things are worth fighting for.

I'm not sure we have had a good reason for one since WW2.

If China and or Russia become bent on world domination, that starts to be a good reason.

Again I think some of you are becoming a small minority as many people are excited by the outlook and prospering under Obama.

I'm also sure Obama has put some serious economic screws on Putin and his crew and no country particularly wants to screw with Obama.

The O needs a war - he NEEDS a wag the dog moment. His administration just continues to pile up the scandals

it is amazing the sheeple have not rioted; but I suppose when the media is on the criminals side and payroll - that outrage is minimized.

PS a third ship in the bath tub - we have violated the BalFour Accord.

"What we have had is 8 years of a demonstration of amateur hour in the white house."

Although it may seem like 8 years to you, it has only been 6.

And what we have had is 6 years of no new wars and 6 years of cleaning up the two started by a republican. How can anybody complain about that?

Oh, I forgot where I am.

When is this new found prosperity going to begin? BO only has a couple of years left.

country particularly wants to screw with Obama.

Yet, so many are.

>>>>What we have had is 8 years of a demonstration of amateur hour in the white house. Worse than amateur hour, because most amateur's are at least humble enough that they can learn and improve.

Nearly an insult to amateurs.

We are experiencing the greatest amount, in the last 6 years, of criminal and ethical violations against America the country has ever seen.

I'd take a "just war" (kinda quoting Obama there) . . . . over the crimes committed by the current administration. I'm quite surprised he has not, like Bill Clinton, been impeached.

The saving grace is they are entertaining. Watching this Jay Carney lackey is about as fun as anything on television one of my favorite moments was when Ms. Hillary's deputy secretary was asked, after citing her "man accomplishment" . . to name a single one. She stumbled and fumbled for 5 minutes.

Total idiots.

Sifo,

Didn't you and your wife retire early under Obama?

Not yet. Actually, both the wife and I got laid off again last summer. We are thinking about retiring in another year though. The ground work for that was done long ago. We are actually a good deal ahead of our financial plan. Under "normal" circumstances we would almost certainly have pulled the trigger. Under current circumstances however, the uncertainty factors are simply too great. Largely the same thing that keeps businesses from expanding. Did you read about the latest IRS ruling on ObamaDontCare that is going to cost businesses a bundle per employee each year? Don't expect any hiring to happen en mass this year or next!

DArn Court, beat me to that one...

I was going to ask if Garry intended to Vote for Hillary after her comments on WMD's in Iraq.

Amazing that with 2 terms Of Georgie to pick from it's never a factual complaint.

There were so many real ones to bitch about... There are some decisions of Barry's to bitch about today.

I'm not sure we have had a good reason for one since WW2.

If China and or Russia become bent on world domination, that starts to be a good reason.

I might agree, but you seem to miss the fact that Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan ( The Russian "adventure there a few years back ) Hungary, .....Eastern Europe, Iron Curtain, Mutually Assured Destruction,.... ALL of that is an ongoing war between Western Civilization and The Soviet/China bloc. Did you miss the way your house has a missile aimed at it?

You haven't Noticed that every hell hole in the third world has ComBloc trained cops/guards with Sovbloc supplied AK-47's? Or Chicom supplied Type 56's?

When the Iron Curtain finally fell, and the Soviet Union collapsed, it didn't end, just the players got shuffled. China has been morphing and it's not at all certain into what. Russia has gone through some hell, and all the Satellite States as well. A half century of police state religious rule really broke down the kind of society we take for granted.

Watch a bit of the Russian "talk to the Prez" show. You have read "1984", "Brave New World" & "The Machine Stops", haven't you? Putin is slick, smooth, the show is well produced... Seen "Wag The Dog"?

I'm also sure Obama has put some serious economic screws on Putin and his crew and no country particularly wants to screw with Obama.

First part of that, "I'm almost sure".... are you paying attention? A lot of people don't think so. I'm not sure at all.

Let me rephrase that. I think you mean "I don't have a clue what Obama's doing but I trust him". I don't either and I don't.

The second part... I like it when other countries don't want to screw with us. I don't think Obama has done a good job in that category.

I could be wrong... Some folk tell me he's Bush#3 and deplore his Bushlike "cowboy" "killer" image. ????

I shall wait until you've quit banging on about life under O, and return to the problems in Ukraine, except to say the truth behind the Iraq war is well documented (factually so) in several of Dilip Hiro's books. Non of which paint a pretty site for the U.S administrations steering the ship at the time. Nor the ones still onboard said ship to this day.

Despite many links to Putin's good grace and diplomacy it remains no surprise to me there's an endemic wave of mistrust towards him from many American's. At best it paints you just as fanatical about your supposed enemies and likely worse when the U.S continues to stomp its self proclaimed authority around the world.

It might come as a shock to many of you (American's) there's a deep mistrust of the U.S around the world. So much so it's not safe for an Englishman to wonder parts of the globe with a bowler hat and brolly! What a mess!

No shock at all. Why should the world trust the US when it's being run by folks that much of the US doesn't trust?

Rocket, your arguments would carry more weight if you stopped acting like Putin was some kind of saint. Right now, everything you say is pretty worthless because it sounds like it comes straight from the Russian propaganda machine. It is obvious that you believe all of it but I don't and I'm not alone. That's not to say I believe what is coming from the Obama administration either because he is a documented liar. But for you to constantly paint Russia as an innocent and benevolent party is off base at a minimum.

It's only slightly off base... if that base is located on Mars.

In the case of Putin / Russia and the Ukraine problem it's anything but off base.

More so when one considers ALL of the skirmishes and full on wars America has engaged in since, well let's say from 1990 onwards, it would be easier to find life on Mars never mind a base, than find an America that's not flat out lied about why it got involved or more so, started a war!

I've yet to see any evidence yet that points to Putin / Russia being involved in anything provocative in Ukraine as told by the current U.S. administration.

Yet almost comically so if it were not for so many wounded and dead, Nuland is viral on the Interweb seen and heard installing Ukraine's current government for the benefit of the administration she represents. This government of which includes Nazis, who have taken it upon themselves to act as the Ukraine's security forces.

I'm 100% certain Putin's a saint in this one, and if any American can't see this they're either liars, thick as pig shit, or imperialists.

See this is where you and others are going wrong. It's not what the politicians are saying. If you've followed my posts in this topic at all you would know it's what the people are telling and not the politicians, which is what you and most others refuse to acknowledge. And when the politicians like Nuland and their representatives like Psaki tell their lies for all to see, you conveniently refuse to see further than the end of your patriotic noses.

Russia moved into protect the security of the Base agreements they had in Crimea and their foot hold on the Black Sea.

We would have, and have done - exactly the same thing to protect our 'interests' across the globe.

That the revolt was funded, initiated, spear headed and currently supported by the West and the O - would make the situation all the more dicey.

And having a 'legitimate' government 'voted' in that claims they want 'Unity and Peace' the day were voted in.... sent Mi-24's against cities in the East ....
.... you should smell the lie by now

It is the equivalent of Sending A-10s to the Bundy Ranch and saying we want a peaceful resolution against the Terrorists ...Live fire, and weapons free....
In fact that song ain't over yet.

America is not the 'good' guy in this mess. Not at all.

They need to get the F*ck out with their #diplomacy and sit the hell home and worry about their own problems rather than creating chaos across the globe.

PS - the bankers don't like that the Hyvarania is an independent currency (a meager one - but it is still not a 'world' currency) watch this one carefully.
