Enslavement in guise of assistance is still enslavement.

Eliminating incentive to education and working hard is nothing but psychological enslavement to the nanny looking after you.

This is proven to destroy self esteem while instead breeding anger and contempt towards others.

No matter who or what level of wealth one might have, meaningful productivity supplanted by dependence upon others for basic needs (food, shelter, clothing, medical care, a telephone...) typically leads to deep resentment.

The predictable result being a culture of hostility, crime, wanton murder, and hatred.

Teach a man to survive, he'll go on his way and live a meaningful productive life. Provide for a man's needs, he'll become your slave. The latter is the core philosophy of much of our federal govt.

Masquerading as caring and compassionate, it is pure evil, enslavement by proxy. Marxism, Progressivism, the KKK's master plan.

Be sure to also provide the means to conveniently kill their unborn babies while convincing them that it's their right to avoid the inconvenience of children. They'll soon understand that their masters see no value in the lives of their children. Resentment and anger will only grow.

Yet some wonder incredulously and are shocked as they watch innocent people dragged from their vehicle, beaten near to death by the slaves we have created.

"Masquerading as caring and compassionate, it is pure evil, enslavement by proxy. Marxism, Progressivism, the KKK's master plan."

So seniors who volunteer at the local hospital are Marxists.

So volunteer firemen are Marxist.

So volunteers at the local school are Marxist.

So dog-walkers at the ASPC are Marxist.

Part of the purpose of government is to help those who have little or no opportunity (and there are many). The fact that this function is abused at times does not alter its course. You are espousing anarchy which to you is pure freedom. I wonder how that works out.

He said "Masquerading". How you can equate that to all volunteers is beyond me. The pure fact of the matter is that most conservatives believe in the power of private assistance and show that support through their pocket book through charitable contributions. What they don't believe in is Government control of everything and government waste. It's been proven over and over again that the private sector can do anything the Government can do but more efficiently and less expensively. What's sad is that people like you would rather people be forced at the end of a gun to pay to assist others when those same people would just rather do it themselves through organizations they trust.

I thought we already went down this road. Please remember what you promised last time and just leave and this time, don't come back.

I am rich beyond measure. I have a beautiful family and I love God.

I try to glorify Him in all things. Nothing else matters.

Best kind of wealth there is. Driving a special needs school bus for a while REALLY helped put life in perspective for me.

" Focus on yourself, not the other guy. Knocking him down will not help your position in life."

So then, why do you object to the government helping people find medical insurance who have none. If you don't need or want the aid, so be it. As you say, "focus on yourself".

Could be because to do that millions are being knocked down, losing perfectly fine insurance, being forced into plans that are much more expensive with higher costs when health care is delivered, and we haven't even gotten to the part where it really starts hurting people. We still don't have any actual data on who has gotten insured. It's still very likely that it's going to be a net loss in the number of insured. People acknowledge that taxing cigarettes and alcohol help to reduce smoking and drinking, but some how we have some people that are a special kind of stupid who think that you can provide more health care by taxing it. Go figure.

He said "Masquerading". How you can equate that to all volunteers is beyond me.

It's a simple jump to dishonesty.

That is not the purpose of the US government. Read the Constitution. Perhaps this misunderstanding is the source of your wayward thinking.

Government has no accountability nor responsibility to actually execute their charter. Go ask the Vets who are dieing because the VA cares about their bonuses over serving the people they are tasked to help.

"The government that governs least, governs best". For the small brain folk, notice that I am not arguing for anarchy. The private sector is held accountable by market forces. The government sector is a "one size fits all" behemoth that destroys.

>>>> "Part of the purpose of government is to help those who have little or no opportunity"

That's not even on the radar, in terms of the stated purposes of government. In fact, it may be closer to the role of the traditional church.

We, as a people, have always been compassionate and caring. But we never envisioned, we trusted, that government would create, as an example, an environment where unemployment insurance became not a net but a trampoline on which one could live for several years . . . we never envisioned a government that deemed owning a cellphone as an "inalienable right" . . nor a government that, after announce it would be the "most transparent in history", hid facts from the people and required lawsuits to get copies of simple e-mails providing what really happened.

Heck we never dreamed The White House would be briefed, in great detail, on a terrorist attack in which the United States Ambassador had a steel rod shoved up his ass and was tortured for hours as he slowly died . . . and we'd get an answer like "what difference does it make anyway" or that the chief executive would, for 9 days following his possession of the details continue to promote a ridiculous youtube video story that no one, to this day, can figure out where it came from.

We never dreamed that the IRS, who many aren't that fond of anyway, would become a political tool or that Lois Lerner, who planted a fake question in a press conference to reveal wrong doing within the IRS would later claim "I did nothing wrong and broke no laws) but now needs 9 attorneys to negotiate "immunity".

The current administration (and I'm not giving prior administrations a pass) has no character, no honesty and no integrity.

The American people, the rich and the poor alike, have character, vision and integrity. None of it is based on race or social status . . . it's who we are.

The people who are presently representing us, as all polls (including the traditionally liberal media which are turning on the administration with increasing speed) show.

We deserve an honest government that works for us and that we don't have to fear.

In all candor, I'll tell you what I am most scared of now.

The current administration has set such a low standard of honesty and integrity, abusing their enumerated powers, that future administrations essentially have carte blanche to enforce, not enforce, change, delay and basically treat the laws and constitution as their personal play book.

The democrats are likely to be leaving power in massive numbers and I'm not entirely comfortable that the incoming Republicans, now that the standards are so low will not exercise similar abuses in an opposite direction.

It'd be real easy to write and executive order declaring that illegal immigrants be given mandatory life sentences.

The liberal mindset is pretty much off in la-la land while their chosen are lying their asses off.

So then, why do you object to the government helping people find medical insurance who have none.

Is that what you're calling Obamacare - helping people find insurance? It's a tax. Their own people said so to the Supreme Court. Remember this, the government cannot give anything to anyone without first taking it away from someone else - either from it's current constituents or by borrowing the money and burdening future generations with the debt.

Amen Court. How on earth can liberals and progressives NOT see what a terrible thing this is?

Apply that likely direction, and the ONLY outcome will be a lot of lives wasted... either at the boot of a repressive government, or in returning freedom to the individual (or both).

>>> helping people find insurance?

I, laughing so hard, pretty much ignored that portion. The first folks they need to help "find" health insurance are the 6,000,000 that HAD IT AND LOST it as a result of this divine benevolence.

PLEASE . . . . I do not WANT any "help" from the government. I recall a time when Park Rangers had no need to carry sniper rifles, wear body armor and have class 2 armored vehicles.

I still get a kick out of FredFrank claiming that the Democrats haven't been the party of racism. When exactly did the Democrat racism stop FredFrank? It must have been sometime after LBJ made these remarks...

quote:

“I’ll have those niggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” —Lyndon B. Johnson to two governors on Air Force One -

“These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference.”—LBJ

Maybe the Democrats stopped being racists sometime after they honored the KKK recruiter as the "conscience of the Senate" way back in 2009?

Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.

Fred What does popularity have to do with ethics or the rule of law? You seem to prefer lawless society be very careful what you wish for you might just get it. We are not helpless fools like you That needs to have some one show them how to buy insurance.
When we volunteer its because we wish to help people Not because YOU want to steal from us and aggrandize your self with other peoples money.
Fred most of the world is not as helpless as you need them to be So you can feel better about yourself.

help you find insurance....

what do you think Insurance Agents, Brokers, and Health Advocacy workers have been doing for nearly 50 years ?

I have done all of those positions, in a commission only basis - ie - I don't help you solve the problem - I don't get paid.

You would much rather have the IRS access to your bank account for draft of premium, and your personal information to be shared via ATF/BLM/SS/FBI/EPA etc ?

y'all that believe government has 'provided insurance' and 'made it simpler / easier' are special kinda stupid.

wake up- pay attention.
and if you are smart - pull your money out of the banks.

This is great news! Trey Gowdy is tenacious and has the best chance to burst the dikes of deceit. Obama should be shaking and quaking cuz the Sheriff is riding into town. Gowdy will have extraordinary subpena powers. Anyone who reads history or is old enough to remember Watergate will see these similarities. We are headed for a Constitutional Crisis and it is 1000% of Obama's making.

Democrats are thinking of not participating but that will cement in the minds of the American People that they are hiding from the Truth.

WASHINGTON, DC – House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) announced today that he has chosen Representative Trey Gowdy (R-SC) to serve as chairman of the select committee to investigate the 2012 tragedy in Benghazi, Libya.

“With four of our countrymen killed at the hands of terrorists, the American people want answers, accountability, and justice. Trey Gowdy is as dogged, focused, and serious-minded as they come. His background as a federal prosecutor and his zeal for the truth make him the ideal person to lead this panel. I know he shares my commitment to get to the bottom of this tragedy and will not tolerate any stonewalling from the Obama administration. I plan to ensure he and his committee have the strongest authority possible to root out all the facts. This is a big job, but Rep. Gowdy has the confidence of this conference, and I know his professionalism and grit will earn him the respect of the American people.”

Is this old news? Is it relevant?

"CBS News President David Rhodes’ brother is Obama Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes, who was instrumental in rewriting the Benghazi talking points. But it gets worse. It is now learned that ABC President Ben Sherwood’s sister, Dr. Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall, is a Special Assistant to Barack Obama on national security affairs. But even this isn’t it! CNN’s deputy bureau chief, Virginia Moseley, is the wife of Tom Nides, who until February was Hillary Clinton’s deputy."
