I was just at the open house for MCC in Villa Park this past weekend. I passed on a test ride. Wrong bike for me anyway. A friend took it out though and was mostly impressed. He's a nit-picky SOB though. He didn't like the fact that for him, the digital tac was pretty well hidden behind the edge of the windscreen. He also said it had a real funny noise every time he took off from a start. Said it sounded like the rear cylinder was going to explode between his legs. Beyond that, I have no idea what that issue was. He did say that after about the second turn he felt like he could lean it over and drag a knee if he wanted to. Handling was superb! They had Erik's 1190RS there with the #1 MFG plate on it too. I guess one of the elves rode it down from cheeseland. He didn't want to let me in on what the next model would be but did say that it would probably "have less bodywork". | ||

I THINK he stated it would be a streetfighter, then the AX would come for Adventure. COnsidering most street fighters are MORE naked than sportbikes, I'd say yes | ||

Interesting showing. Lots of activity. In the end, a bunch of age 20+ females heading off on several 1190RX's. Hal's even has an EBR wall up with merchandise. Hal's was, as usual, a good host  And, more importantly, hanging with my friend Gonzo  | ||
