It's ok,.. but don't get your knickers in a twist. Those articles... are propaganda... made to make you believe America is bad.

But you would get your knickers in a twist attempting to disprove why each of those authors would be wrong or just plain lying, otherwise you wouldn't be resorting to meaningless replies with such frequency.

What's the point in this topic after all if there's a lack of intelligent two way traffic?

Might I suggest you concentrate instead on the topic and not my underwear

You worried about your Russian oil I bet. I would be too, if that gets cut off... it be a world of trouble over there. Regardless of who's at fault. I am sure the americans do not want that to happen... Russia probably doesn't either, but they will send over some unmarked green men to blow something up for an excuse to invade. The Americans/Nato will have to do something as well. We will stand by your countrymen to defend you. Good Luck.

I can only speak as I see. Everything I see I have people like you telling me it's not true. The problem you have is you're not convincing me when the best you can offer is silly posts rather than fact based information which would disprove what pretty much is the stuff you don't want me to believe.

Your other problem is your own government can't disprove the same stuff, which is worse when they're having to admit they were wrong after trying hard to with false information.

I'm pretty clear I'm getting it more right than more wrong. That would appear to be a fact. Facts are what the U.S is lacking in its blame war. You appear to be playing follow your leaders, and getting it wrong too. Perhaps you should do your own research. At least then, you might find out you are right about you being wrong, as you are ; )

UK oil supply is not reliant upon Russia. Never has been.

This is what you are referring to.

Which is as I've mentioned before all part of the big money game aimed at destabilising and isolating Russia until the U.S gets its claws into Ukraine, which it won't.

Xdigitalx,
I wouldn't count on this administration keeping it's word or any treaties. Ask Poland how Obama traded away the antiballistic missile system intended to protect Europe from Iranian ( Korean & Soviet made ) IRBM's for Russia's influence to stop Iran's nuclear program. Let's see..... oh yeah...... Russia did diddle and laughed at us..for good reason.

I'm not sure I'd bet against John McCain hanging out with neonazis either. He has no trouble cooperating with American Progressives to screw you over so why not foreign socialists? I'm not saying he has done anything wrong.... ........ I just have become very aware that he is a career politician and the only priority for them is their career.

Just accept it. You have no evidence that the Murderous Western Oligarchs are not setting this whole thing up to hurt the poor innocent Russians and their noble leader Vladimir.

Never mind a century of mass murder. Lying excuses for wars of conquest. Utter dishonesty as a part of the most evil religion as it arms the worst people on the planet to destroy western civilization.

All that was long ago. Just like the US Democrat Party of today is in no way the same as the one that passed all the Jim Crow laws or set up a Plantation State or is rabidly anti NRA for teaching the ex slaves to shoot back at the Democrat Party Action Arm KKK, the New Russian government is nothing at all like the one that deliberately murdered over 14 million Ukrainians in the last Century.

Really. Just ask. They'll tell you.

Ural is in Irbit Russia, no affect.
The MILITARY contracts for URAL are in Kiev; they have ramped up production.....

a cheap alternative to uparmored jeep / hummer type equipment

I am in the process of organizing a trip from Irbit to Kiev for next year - this little 'war' is putting a dampening on that - it makes people afraid to sign up and pay

The problem you have with such a statement Patrick, is Russia in Putin's time has transformed itself from anything like you describe.

There are many learned folk, scholars, experts, politicians, statisticians, whoever, better placed than you and those here sharing your claims, who prove you wrong. That you dismiss all of these many and varied people is no surprise. But it is part of the problem. Why is it?

Because it is your government who has systematically broken agreements. Trashed on the idea of new agreements better for a post cold war era. Continued with expansionism - into eastern Europe. Increased its military presence throughout the entire region. Financed the politics and politicians they favour. This for 25 years or so, and they're still at it knee deep in Ukraine tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and for all of the foreseeable. That you should know this yet refuse to accept it simply allows your government to get away with it. You don't just have a problem. You've become part of the problem. Just as your government wants you to.

I'm still waiting to hear where the big bad Putin proof is? He seems a lot less dangerous to the region and to the world than anyone I've seen in American politics since Nixon. When was the last time an American president didn't go to war?

Likely for now but I could use my contacts with the factory to get you one if you're struggling? I'm fairly certain I could have a Ural at my door within a few days.

Don't think Putin will cut off the gas flow?? He already has before. Those countries will suffer big-time. All because little Putin doesn't get his way or in retaliation from more sanctions..., sanctions for his behaving badly.

Ergh, you're sounding all too contrary now. You said "You worried about your Russian oil I bet. I would be too, if that gets cut off... it be a world of trouble over there." and this is England where Russia doesn't pipe oil to - which seemed clear your original statement meant to imply.

Russian troops in Ukraine..... Russian Troops illegally taking over Ukraine Military bases and making illegal checkpoints along roads into cities in Ukraine. And then..., massive troop buildups and on border of neighboring country. I guess...that's a start.

Now what is a Country to do to defend against such things? Slavyansk has been over run by separatists and have taken over government buildings. This is a public building of the Ukraine Government. The Ukraine Government have every right to go into that city and restore order. Moscow has NO right whatsoever. NONE.

I think it's pretty much accepted the Crimea is and has always been full of Russian military. There does however seem a need from some to use Crimea in place of Ukraine thus continuing the illusion of Russian's in Ukraine and not Crimea - which is what the U.S,. wants you to believe ; )

Do you have proof of these Russian military checkpoints along roads to these Ukrainian cities? No of course you don't otherwise you'd be an overnight media sensation with a lot more money in your bank if you did. Currently the most sought after proof in the western world - except there isn't any.

As for the build up of Russian military along Russia's own borders, it's in response to U'S. NATO doing likewise. Imagine if Russia took Canada. You would expect America to protect its border wouldn't you? Why should Russia be any different here with your mob close by to their border?

.............

Russia does seem to be the place of choice for the majority in east Ukraine as today's May Day marches show.

From the BBC who have been doing a sterling job of filling our living rooms with a lot of clap trap propaganda reporting of recent events. This being less so even for the Beeb.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-27241740

In depth and more detail, as to be expected of course by RT.

http://rt.com/news/156160-gas-rally-donetsk-ukrain e/

The pro autonomy separatists seem to do just as good a job without the need for Russia's help.

Fact is, the Ukrainian police and military when tasked to keep control of buildings or places, do so with only so much as a token gesture. Then give it up.

Do you have any proof of your claim Russian's are active in Ukraine? I'd very much like to see it seeing as you and others here are believing it.

What, no proof? No evidence? Ya da? Nothing?

Doesn't look like I'm going to need any luck living with the Bear.

It's America's foreign policy which continues to concern me. Dragging us into an illegal war destabilising the world ever since. Ukraine whilst not quite the same thing is another exercise of America's attempted federalisation of eastern Europe. And it dares to do this with no fear of threat to even the like of Russia.

All this after Putin's twenty odd years of warming relations with the U.S.

Rocket has a point. Obama's illegal war with Libya for oil and the betrayal of Gadaffi and the Libyan people is still resonating on the international scene. Despite the lies and attempts to forget it domestically.

Still waiting to hear the UK or Russian take on George Soros the oligarch reputed by some to be the puppet master in this administration and the Ukraine coup/war.

Dragging us into a war?? WTF are you referring to? The US reacts to dictators and their aggressive movements towards innocent people or countries. Same reaction will/should probably happen in Ukraine.
The storming of the Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office began as several dozen shield-holding protesters pelted rocks and petrol bombs at the building while chanting “Fascists!,” as they tried to break in.
And to save lives and injuries to both parties, they gave up. Show to me they are peaceful police and with just cause, reacting to the aggressive protestors...who had violent intentions. Firebombs? Are you serious?? These are peaceful protestors???

Putin is acting aggressive towards Ukraine,... he has the troops on the border... he is also announcing to the world he will invade if he so chooses. If he does, he will end up like Saddam did.... found hiding in a hole somewhere.

"What the Ukrainian authorities want from the separatists has not changed, he said -- release the hostages, turn in weapons, vacate seized administrative buildings and allow the normal functioning of the city. Avakov urged residents not to go outside and to be careful at windows while the operation continues. The separatists "shoot from the windows of residential apartments," he said, aware that the Ukrainian forces have been told not to fire toward homes. Ukraine's security service also accused separatist leaders of ordering activists to use residents as human shields in the city and at checkpoints. The service said the downing of a military helicopter indicated that those shooting were "highly professional foreign military, rather than peaceful residents with hunting guns, as the Russian leadership says."

Looks and sounds like gunfire and not a missile fired at this helicopter.

I just can't see spending any of my time reading more of the propaganda the Rocket keeps posting. I acknowledge I am bad with this stuff sometimes, but you guys who are still having "conversation" on this topic make me feel pretty balanced. Thanks!
