Never heard of several, but I'm old. Amusing seeing the great liberal thinker Cher in a Nazi helmet. Being cynical, I wonder if a few were merely posing near motorcycles to get street cred as bad boys? | ||

Being cynical, I wonder if a few were merely posing near motorcycles to get street cred as bad boys? My thinking exactly. I know McQueen, Leno and Schwartze-nabber ride because I have seen them. The rest, well as you said many look posed. Some "riders" in motion appear scared... Clooney. Cher just looks stupid, what did she have done to her face? | ||

I'm old too, never heard of half of 'em. The real title should be "Some celebrities & wannabees posed with motorcycles." If we're going to be accurate. Cher appeared to be one of the few actually riding, most are feet down. | ||

At least that last one looks like a real biker chick! Most of them, I don't recognize. I'm kind of glad about that. Aykroyd and Belushi bring back memories though. I've heard a boatload of first hand stories of Belushi when he was growing up around here. He was Bluto! | ||

I'd go with Ewan McGregor or Leno any time - the others not so much. McQueen (died 1980) had mad skills (On Any Sunday) and raced quite a bit. Richard Hammond is a strong track-day rider, or so I've been told. | ||

Richard Hammond and James May both ride on the road regularly. May has a collection of vintage Honda's. Recently exhibited as part of the London Excel show. An episode of Top Gear featured May 'racing' his Vincent Black Shadow the length of Britain, against Hammond and Clarkson with different modes of transport. I forget who and what won. It wasn't May on the Vinny though. Back to Cher. I understand she rides her Harley frequently and long distances. I would like a Hellcat too. Do they only sell to celeb's? Rocket in England | ||
