I can tell you the lights on that headlight are completely inadequate. You're going to want to modify if with better lights or upgrade the assembly completely.

Those look like H-D controls/grips which I would consider a major downgrade.

The end of the clutch lever is broken off so I'd look for hidden damage/repairs.

The entire front end actually looks to be from an S2 so I'd be suspect of everything on that.

Tubers have plenty of idiosyncrasies. Peruse the old school Buell forum for tips and insights on typical stuff.

I'm sure others will chime in shortly.

I'd be looking very very carefully at that bike, it looks like it's been abused. Just look at the rear tyre, that's ringing alarm bells straight away.
Also if it's not the original front end, why not? Those forks are pretty stiff, if the bike's hit something the frame may be distorted, check the gusset plates where the frame tubes join for paint cracking.

Looks like it may have a 1250 kit on it (98 S1W had black heads but not cylinders), cannot see the muffler well - could be a supertrapp or maybe a vance and hines, zooming way in on the photos indicates the rear shock could be the original unit that was subject to recall, or it could be an upgraded after market part.

Nothing looks cut or outlandishly painted, might be a good project to restore to original and ride the hell out of. Listen to the advice posted above.

that may be a flat ended super trap, if so you want to replace it, those were known to fail, look close at the frame, especially around the steering head for evidence of bending and re-painting.

good luck

The lower frame tubes near the steering head where the flimsy stick-on fork bumpers lie will tell if any wrecking was going on. Even a hard tankslapper may dimple the frame tubes there, but a wreck surely will.

i have seen him listing that bike for some time now. mostly because for whats been done to it and what needs fixing he is asking way to much for it. especially considering you can pick up perfectly good tube frames that dont need new tires and a new clutch in that price range.

figure 4-500 in tires, a couple hundred in new clutch...

then cost to fix that headlight problem...

Those bars do look odd on that bike.. That being said, the forks, fender, and bars could be from something like the s2. The headlight/fairing is one of the cheap ebay deals. No real good reason to swap out the good s1 parts for whats on there unless they were wrecked. Those wouldn't be something changed for looks

I'm guessing it's a straight pipe on it.
Ick.
