As most of you all know, last year I received life-saving multiple organ
transplants after 5 prior surgeries to keep me alive....My next follow-up surgery
was kicked down the road by my current insurance company (WPS), I was not alone
in this as Obama-care allowed companies to delay, knowing the date of their release
from responsibility and my current insurance company will not pay for the surgery. My family has helped as much as possible, I have set up my own savings account to pay for this. I am hoping that the small help from many can make a huge
difference. Anything would a blessing. I have set up a Pay-Pal account for this purpose.

I would be happy to look at that bill for you - never pay billed prices for services rendered. The upcharge on them is crazy and fat - it makes the mark up on used cars look like we are giving the shiate away for free.

ie the 9 dollar bandaid or the 6 dollar aspirin

you will have to scan it and mail it to me, but I guarantee you - you have, will, and are going to be overcharged.

(in my last life, before selling motos - I did billing and high dollar audit for the major providers in the PNW; Aetna, BCBS, Centra, Sisters of Providence, PacifiCare, Secure Horizons, First Choice Health and two private VpNs at Zenith and NW Admin)

Trust me - you gonna get billed fat and heavy... and in 85% of the time - it will be over and abundantly so.

It is not a bill, it is about a surgery that I face and need. I am trying to collect it $10 at a time..

F22raptor,
Be sure you talk to a tax advisor or lawyer.
You could be responsible for income tax on any money you collect.

Just curious. Why won't your insurance company pay for the surgery? What type of surgery are we talking about here?

I will be brief..Starting in 2008-2010, I was having 15-liters of fluid pulled from my abdomen every 15, days with the Mayo-clinic taking 24 liters at one time ( a record Yea!) My abdomen ripped-open many times and they would hack-job a dying may with Kevlar to hold his guts, in his gut. I was finally diagnosed in spring of 2010 and received 4 more internal surgeries to keep me going for 2 more years time I got my new-organs installed. The doctors say that now I am normal, the patch-work quilt has to be re-opened, muscles re-attached, and skin re-aligned. The insurance company was kicking all procedures down the road, as they knew they had a end date. Call and talked to the Insurance commissioner and the appeal would take longer and coverage would expire. My current carrier said it is not their problem as is was covered under the last carrier as a claim was filled.

Man I hate to hear this. I know where you are coming from though and I wish you the best.

My father-in-law needs a procedure to help him with blood flow to his head. A procedure he had done in the not to distant past. Now they won't pay for it because he is 83, but otherwise he a spry, very active, healthy, veteran who still works 8 hours a day in the family restaurant just to pay for his extra insurances.

Talk about socialistic "just pull the plug medicine" if you are not young enough, healthy enough, pretty enough, rich enough, or politically tied....you are out. Sounds like Russia in the 1960's.

Best of luck to all of us.
