Sifo, I think you meant to post this one in the World Superbike thread where people are saying EBR should go hide somewhere until they can podium in their first race. (Or maybe somebody is just saying that the Yanks should mind our manners and know our station...) |

Even though the president appoints the five FCC commissioners, the entire organization is is controlled by congress, not the executive branch. That is, of course, unless this president proclaims himself "His Excellency President for Life, Field Marshal Al Hadji Doctor Barack Hussein Obama, VC, DSO, MC, Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Sea, and Conqueror of the non-Muslim Free World in General and the United States in Particular." Scary stuff indeed. |

This is from the guy who came to California to blame the drought on Global Warming and immediately golfed on an exclusive course which consumes 1,000,000 gallons of water a day! It is his right to do so but he is SUPPOSED to be a leader. He ain't.
quote:The 124 golf courses in the Coachella Valley consume roughly 17% of all water there, and one-quarter of the water pumped out of the region’s at-risk groundwater aquifer, according to the Coachella Valley Water District. Statewide, roughly 1% of water goes to keep golf courses green. Each of the 124 Coachella Valley courses, on average, uses nearly 1 million gallons (3.8 million L) a day because of the hot and dry climate, three to four times more water per day than the average American golf course. source: http://swampland.time.com/2014/02/17/obama-golfs-w ater-guzzling-desert-courses-amid-the-drought/
Meanwhile, he screws the poor while he claims to help them.

Glorification of The One! http://pjmedia.com/blog/gilding-obamas-reputation/ ?singlepage=true Money quote: "Douglas Brinkley (Rice), far from acknowledging Obama’s purposeful deceptions, went so far as to refer to Obama’s “unflappable integrity” on the way to describing Obamacare as “[h]is greatest long-term victory.”" |

On Bureaucracy, petty idiocy, and rampant crony appointments.... Checkov (1894) ' He had lashed the work ass to the apple tree, binding the reins tight- expecting a sweet pie in the return' A scathing rant against a 'boyar' that was of wealth and position, but of no sense in his head. ie he thought that 'work' was work, and surely if you put a farm animal used for plowing, lashed it to an apple tree - somehow that 'work' would produce a dessert. Instead he returned to the garden trampled and the ass bound up in its own tethers and needing to be rescued from suffocating.... and still not understanding the situation at hand. History and Literature - why should you read them ?.... because they paint a picture better than the 'news' ever could. |

Obama and Kerry would make a great comedy team if the results of their incompetence and arrogance didn't help destroy America. It is almost beyond belief that there exist idiots foolish enough to have voted for either of these clowns to be pResident.

http://nypost.com/2014/02/22/christine-odonnell-i- was-a-victim-of-the-irs/ When in 2017 Jeb Bush targets D candidates with the IRS and leaks NSA gathered phone data on his enemies it will be cosmic justice, and tyranny. I will stand against tyranny no matter what letter is after their name. Does FF have that conviction? Or is parrot a happy place to be? Truth be told, "stand" may not be accurate. Jumping up and down screaming? perhaps. I try not to do that today, even when The Great Barry tells us there isn't a smidgen of honor in his soul. But speak the truth, no matter the threat of secret police? That I can try to do. |

When I see hipsters wearing Mao hats or Lenin T-shirts, I’m grateful. It’s like truth-in-labeling. For now I know you are: Woefully ignorant, morally stunted, purposively asinine, or all three. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/371183/ameri cas-self-appointed-ministers-culture-jonah-goldber g Remember, Obama may be a citizen, even a legal one, but he's not OF us. He lacks the cultural understanding of such things as patriotism, work as part of identity, and why America is unique. America is unique simply because we are the children of & the people that were brave enough to leave hell. |

For FF, who probably thinks Nazis are not socialists. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/371705/fasci sm-and-socialism-still-not-opposites-jonah-goldber g .....consider the fact that North Korea is in many ways as “Nazi” as the Nazis were. It’s a nationalist country that subscribes to eugenic theories that it uses to justify the industrial torture and slaughter of its own citizens. In fact, North Korea’s eugenics is crazier than Nazi Germany’s was. I’m not trying to minimize the evil of the Holocaust, but “Jew” is a real category of human being and eugenics generally weren’t discredited in the 1930s. Eighty years later, North Korea believes that the political views of people are genetically heritable for generations. So you can get sent to a death camp if your great uncle said something nice about America or if your second cousin lives in South Korea. |

When GW Bush went to war ( with congressional approval ) the US Army, in total, was smaller than the troops deployed in Desert Storm. Clinton & Gore cut the military that much. Now, The O and Just Joe are going to cut the military to pre WW2 levels? I suppose we don't need that big a military to protect America. After all, until The O takes away our guns ( he promised not to, so..... he probably will try ) the American Citizens can take on any foreign military that reaches our shores. I wonder if anyone in This Administration has bothered to tell the ( what did she call it? ) EU that it's on it's own against Russia, Iran, and possibly Turkey. ( which could take the EU down by itself, if Russia/China/Us didn't stop it. England could, but would probably wait until the Turks reached the Channel ) Perhaps this is part of the Fundamental Transformation, where we have a Civilian Armed Force equal in size & funding to the military. Makes it a lot easier if the military is small. Then again there's that part I mentioned above, about the US Citizens. Will a "Civilian Force" answerable to, say, the President, be required to take an oath to defend the Constitution? Will they know what that means after careful selection and a half century of public school erasure of history and deliberate lack of teaching on the subject? No doubt there's a simpler reason for this, like needing the money to pay for welfare for the ever growing number of jobless people in the US. No need to panic. Ask your Congressperson politely if they want to keep their jobs, yes, that would be a good idea. |

After all, at this point, what difference does it make? Oh, well. The O did kinda promise that he'd stop us from slandering the Prophet. He does keep some promises. Too bad they are to the Jihadi. |
