I was thinking that it might be worth watching the BO/BO interview. No doubt O'Reilly would ask some good questions that won't get asked by other interviews. Then it dawned on me, I can see this pResident telling lies any day of the week. This would be no different at all. There's just no point in wasting my time. | ||

The interview was good, infuriating but good. The question I wanted to hear wasn't asked, "Who gave the 'Stand down' order?", but I'm sure he would have tried to squirm from under that one like he did most of the others... O'Reilly was as respectful as he could be with someone undeserving of it. | ||

Nice article in the Sunday Times yesterday describing the relationship between the union workforce and management at the Harley Davidson factory in Pa.. Also a great Super Bowl commercial by Chrysler and narrated by Bob Dylan. Both supporting the American skilled union workforce. | ||

Obama really disrespects the American People. He thinks that Americans are stupid enough to believe him that Benghazi is a manufactured crisis by Fox News. He truly believes that Americans are idiots for buying the story about the Youtube video that his administration claimed on five Sunday talk shows as well as in front of the UN. He loathes the American People who he believes are unintelligent enough to not realize that his re-election bid was in danger if terrorism, including Al-Queda, was on the rise because of his vacillation. Well I saw this today in my inbox, at times Tea Party news seems to be a little on the tin foil hat side to me, BUT you just can't make this kind of stuff up. it seems that some folks get to DC and DC means Dis-Connect Our founding fathers made 3 branches of government, They put a process to make and repeal laws into place for a reason. One of their concerns was the threat of a Tyrant coming to power, The subjects of this linked article may have the best of intentions, BUT they fail to understand the significance of the actions they are taking, We need jobs BUT its not the governments responsibility to provide them. Tea Party news seems to be a little on the tin foil hat side to me I won't get into if the Tea Party is/isn't on the tin foil hat side. What I will question is, who exactly is the Tea Party at this point? Just owning the teaparty.org website doesn't necessarily mean that they speak for all the Tea Party. The reality is that the Tea Party is still largely just an idea rather than an organized political party. To my knowledge, there has been no sort of agreement among anyone that this group speaks for the "Tea Party". They do have a link for Tea Party groups, but I see that they have no listing for the local group that I have contact with. So who is the REAL Tea Party? I don't really know at this point. What I do know is that our local group deals with issue awareness, and doesn't endorse any candidates. All candidates, regardless of any party affiliation are welcome to speak at their events. Where it will go from here, I really don't know. I do know that there are a lot of folks to consider themselves Tea Partiers, but not part of any national group. It really is about an ideology of a smaller, limited federal government, as in Taxed Enough Already. Attaching other issues to the Tea Party group at this point, as is often done, just seems a little suspicious to me. Of course limiting the federal government can cover a lot of ground these days. I just don't think there is any true agreed upon organized leadership on a national level at this point. | ||
