Well it's time to decide if we have it and where. I was considering a suggestion that we move the Rally digs to a place that could accommodate us and has a lakeside fire pit area we could kinda congregate on. The only problem with that is I don't know one with the quality of the Fort William Henry spot. So I wouldn't mind some input at all!!! The date should be May 16-18 for the Rally as we traditionally go 2 weeks before Americade the prices are very good at this period and the Black Flies are mostly gone, the weather is ok as well usually. Well what do ya think fella's and ladies. Please remember this is family friendly event and for those who want to bring your families there are great amenities in the area amazing amenities actually. There is a great wolf lodge 10 miles away there is steamship tours of the lake shopping and arcades and kiddie rides a rodeo yes a rodeo and some rarely rivaled natural beauty to be seen. I will post a new adventure route for the ride up this year I am working on as I type. Well thats it for now I need your imput on this one fellow buellers and ralliers alike!!!! Dave |

I like the looks of that park. Now if we can find a place with real food and respectable service for dinner it would be perfect. The 16th to 18th works for me, maybe we can beat another snowstorm again. |

Yeah I am thinking about the food situation. There are several better places up near Boltons landing but I like the closeness of the waterfront so this is gonna be difficult. But worth the challenge I'd say!!! |

Think I might have found a place!!! The main reason for changing hotels is FWH has a lot of weddings in May and the rooms available were not that great and the hotel smelled a lot like curry Anyway I am making calls today http://www.georgianresort.com/photo-galleries/rooms/ (Message edited by brumbear on January 08, 2014) |

http://www.georgianresort.com/photo-galleries/room s/ The boulders is out the motel is not connected to the lake front properties. The birchwood is out not that nice it seems and I am checking on Cresthaven but their prices are very high in comparison. |

ADK III, I can see it now... no i can really see it now.
I'm in, FWH works for me, but I do have a fishing trip booked and that might make it a brief appearance. From lake placid while we were waiting for... while we were just waiting.

That was the Moriah/Hudson rd. We should also ride its sister to the north, Tracy rd. It makes a nice loop and is still on the way to Lake Placid. Seems like Mark was familiar with that ride as well. |

Nah, he got us all on our "crotch rockets". Good thing he had time to cool off. I'm okay with the FWH again if need be. Hey, the parking lot is open enough for all to gather. Really need a good dinner place though. Who knows the area well? |

I've had good food here several times. http://www.barnsider.com/ Part of the problem with Lake George is it is seasonal, and there is high help turn over. The good place last year might not be this year. I agree with Griff, I wasn't impressed with supper last year. |
