I have some questions I would have asked if I was in press core: 1. Why did you LIE to the American people about Obama care during your campaign? 2. How many million people who didn't have insurance actually have it now?? 3. How many million people/business's who had good insurance/doctors/prices (they liked) got canceled and had to get new policies they didn't like and that cost more?? 4. Why did you and Hillary lie to the American people about Benghazi? I mean,... you walked up to the podium and blatantly LIED,.... so why should we believe what you are saying now??? I am waiting for the POTUS to say something like: "you should just be happy you are in a position to help the uninsured, you are helping this country and humanity for the better, that is an incredible Christmas present for all". Another words, just STFU and stop complaining. Merry Christmas!!! IRS;NSA;?? Who says the ACA can't be repealed?? ...it's too late... you can't take something away from people you just gave them... Cant post an opinion worried about the heat you ll get If your position is valid factual and logical you have a point If its about feelings alone and or guilt about how some one else should act The Poster has a problem. Cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen. Of adv rider it has many good and helpful sections. The rant sections are pretty tame and pretty liberal at times I seldom post there since you cant fix stupid! There are many flower children rider on quests to find them selves and journal the trip for the most part they are enjoyable to read and the ride report pictures are wonderful. Many of the folks ride because they cant fit in any where and are true kings of the road. Dr Gregs posts there are up to his usual high standards as are many. The sheer talent level of Badweb and the depth of Most members here foster intense debates and strong opinions. Tough minded folks that do not suffer fools well. Formed by lives of rich experience OH AND GUYS JUST IGNORE THE SLINKY PEOPLE  | ||

My local congressman, Devin Nunes, sits on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence whose primary function is the oversight of the US Intelligence Community. As I understand it, they did stay alive long enough for help to have arrived had it been sent. It's still impossible to say what would have happened. As it is, at best we simply ignored their desperate cries for help. At worst, and it looks like this is the actual case, we ordered our people to stand down and let them die. That's taking action that any reasonable person would conclude is partly the cause of their deaths. | ||

currently 95 dollars, or 1% of income .... which ever is greater But the penalty will increase more than sevenfold in the next two years, with the fine running as much as $695 per person by 2016. The family maximum would be as high as $2,085 (or 2.5 percent of family income, whichever is greater) And as it is 'administered' by the IRS - fines, penalties and interest will be tabulated from the time you 'should' have signed up (anyone that has ever paid taxes past the April 15 deadline should know their shenanigans well enough) and of course the ultimate cost .... The IRS gets account information from across the globe.... they don't have to freeze your passport (though they certainly could, and I do not put it past them) they will just seize and lien and freeze your money. Fourth-grader Gracie Brown was especially proud of her card, hoping it would “make their day because their family might live far away, and they might not have somebody to celebrate Christmas with.” “I’d like them to know they’ve not been forgotten and somebody wanted to say thank you,” Gracie told MyFoxDFW.com. Gracie’s card read, “Merry Christmas. Thank you for your service.” It also included an American flag. But the bedridden veterans at the VA hospital will never get to see Gracie’s card. Nor will they see the cards made by 51 other students. That’s because the Christmas cards violated VA policy. "It really didn't occur to me there would be a problem with distributing Christmas cards," said Susan Chapman, a math teacher at the academy. She's married to a veteran and volunteers with the American Legion and other veterans' organizations. On Monday morning the boys and girls were planning on hand delivering the cards to the wounded veterans. Chapman called the hospital to make final arrangements and that’s when she learned there was a problem. "I told him my students made cards, we'd like to bring them down for the veterans," Chapman told the television station. "And he said, 'That's great. We're thrilled to have them, except the only thing is, we can't accept anything that says ‘Merry Christmas' or ‘God bless you' or any scriptural references because of all the red tape.'" A VA official quoted the policy which is in the Veterans Health Administration handbook: "In order to be respectful of our veterans' religious beliefs, all donated holiday cards are reviewed by a multi-disciplinary team of staff led by chaplaincy services and determined if they are appropriate (non-religious) to freely distribute to patients. We regret this process was not fully explained to this group and apologize for any misunderstanding." Hiram Sasser, director of litigation for Liberty Institute, said it was a new low “even for the Scrooges and Grinches at the VA.” “Targeting the benevolent work of little children for censorship is disgusting,” Sasser told me. “Do the Grinches in the administration of the VA really believe our bravest warriors need protection from the heartfelt well wishes of small children saying Merry Christmas?” Andrea Brown, Gracie’s mom, was dumbfounded by the news. “This wasn’t the country I grew up in, when you couldn’t say ‘Merry Christmas,’ you couldn’t say ‘God bless you’ or reference any scripture,” she told MyFoxDFW.com. She told the television station the boys and girls were heartbroken that the military personnel would not be able to receive their cards. "They couldn't believe the people that these people they wanted to honor weren't going to get the chance to see what they had done," she said.
