Thanks for sharing. Cool story. Our second honeymoon was a trip to New Zealand. We spent a week on a friend's 10,000 acre sheep farm in the Whanganui area. Now I have another reason to go back there. I can easily see why Guy Martin is a crowd favorite. I wish him the best.

For a country as small as England the language used from just 20 miles away was so varied in the early 80s that I saw a guy (on BBC) that could tell what town or locality a person came from in England just by listening to them speak. I have no problem understanding Guy. I like him.

Guy is a very likable character. I think in celebrity status terms he's our first motorcycle racer celeb since Barry Sheene.

Just this evening 'Speed with Guy Martin' aired over here. Given it's a North One TV production, the same who did a great job with the TT and Classic TT this year, and who have landed Moto GP rights for the UK with BT Sport, it's likely only a matter of time before you guys get it. This will be a global series.
