Apparently he's been in a cave on Mars with his head in the sand and his fingers in his ears for the past 20 years.

"the wheelbase is 55.25 inches, two inches shorter than he could build with a Sportster motor. " Interesting, did he try an XB motor?

"going to a magneto ignition, which would save 15 pounds and add some power, thanks to reduced drag on the crank."

Is the weight savings the battery? I thought mags drew power for the spark energy? Someone believes this hype, I guess.

Wow, a nicely crafted supersporty big twin! This is what Eric Buell never gave us (Instead he lost track with engines from Rotax, a brand that produces engines for sleds, motorkites and probably also lawn-mowers). Impressive piece of work from that guy and impressively neat package!

WTF...I swear, people are generally morons

It's cool and all, but he's tootin' his own horn a bit. Spondon made a 54" wheelbase XL frame ages ago, and there's them Beeyooel bikes.

The Twin Cam sounds good on paper, but they are slow revving and don't put up very good numbers on a chassis dyno without a fortune thrown at it.

Anybody else notice the claim of 200 horsepower?

Is that even possible?

No your not there really. Head work and cams and a good tune can get ya 150ish. My Brother has a 124 with alittle work. The above states with a Turbo and engine work. Thing is will it take the punishment of high RPM on a track time after time??

Saw these bikes at the Cycle World motorcycle show. They are nice...
I don't know why they insist on Big Twins, but in this case, stacking up the transmission is a cool idea, sort of like how some Japanese makers do it...

Actually, if someone can come up with a stacked big twin tranny that works as good as a stock one it's a game changer for sure. The length of the tranny determines overall wheelbase to a great extent.
