Overall this site has lost it's usefulness it once had. As foolish a statement as I've ever read. Yesterday, I started a thread titled "Need Help". I got results within hours. My problem is solved, and I have this community to thank for it. | ||

I have been in places and situations with insight and predictions of what is coming based on research, analysis, historic precedence, intell and a distinct adverse gut reaction any Disney Happy ending - that many have said that I am a loon, crazy, misguided, or a quack. .... and I do get things wrong - like timing - but I have lost count of the times that I have had senior commanders have to eat crow for not listening to a brief that I gave. Lt Cdrs do not like me - I have made them look foolish entirely too many times. Captains and Flag staff are quite receptive to the analysis I have given; it is why they keep calling me back. There will be another crash(driven by the Health Care Mess), the dollar will fall as a metric for global currency and will be replaced, domestic martial law will be imposed, and the next Presidential election will have less merit than voting for American Idol. And when the shiate hitting the fan is imminent; you will know - because I will be gone, and not even lurking - so you will have a loon free experience; So Rejoice ! That time is near. | ||

I never stated my opinion of Obama one way or the other. Quite frankly you and others on here do not deserve, nor will be given my opinion. As for the other sections. They aren't exactly hopping. I do visit them and the amount of information in them has dropped significantly. I'm crushed. I'm working so hard to become worthy of your opinion. My loss I guess. Any possibility that the lack of posting in other areas might have to do with the down turn in sales of Buells in recent years? Na, it's probably because of the quickboard. Somehow though, I'm not convinced that telling people to post elsewhere is going to make things pick up here on BW. I could be wrong. Joel, that's all I need to hear. I do my best to keep up with things, but it's very time consuming. Threads like this one help me tremendously, and I have a good amount of time to devote to being informed. Cityxslicker? I really hope he's batshitcrazy. The problem is, with every passing month, he's sounding more and more like he's pretty close to the target. I think most people feel that something is terribly wrong and it goes beyond just the obvious. Something darker, mysterious and unknown lurks beneath and we can't quite put our finger on it. I believe we are heading into one of those watershed moments in history that will become a line of demarcation between life before and life after. I can't envision it unraveling in any orderly fashion that would allow us to continue along our current path but then again, the power of the status quo can't be underestimated. In the end who really knows. The best we can do is hope for the best and prepare for the worst. | ||

I too have hoped that City was nuts. So far..... Other than not having left the USA ( A mistake IMHO, leaving I mean. ) he keeps being accurate. And moving to the Ukraine, while not my idea of fun ( since I don't speak the language ) has the advantage that Ukrainian girls are hot. See Mila Kunis.  My concern is you feel unwelcome. Yes, if you lie, people will call you on it, rarely. If you parrot some mantra fed you on the internet, or MSNBC, you'll get called on it. I've been wrong, oh, at least a couple of times. You want to know how to adjust your carb? We can help. You want to learn how to crochet a seatcover? I haven't a clue, but we can help, since we can link you to someone who does. Where you do get in trouble here, is sniping and running away like a coward. It's pretty darn childish, and several people do it, until they get bored. I try not to "bash" Obama. What do I mean by "bash"? Lie about him, that's not kosher. Won't stand for it with Bush, Obama, or Hillary. Lies are a tool of the Enemy. ( fill in Satan, Commies, Republican Establishment, your choice ) Slam him for his ancestry, his skin color, the fact that he comes from a broken home with a crazy mother, that's not fair, and it's more a reflection on your messed up head than Obama. That's bashing. Disagree with his policies? Totally fair. If you can't then he IS the Tyrant he keeps telling us he's not. Point out his lies? Somebody has to. a lot of the "media" sure aren't, but no matter if it's Bush or Obama or Paul, when they spout crapola, it's ok to say it. For example, when GWB called himself a "Compassionate Conservative" it was proper to call him on that, since it really means "I'll spend your money to make myself feel good about myself". | ||

psst - they already passed it. The path for immigration 'amnesty' is indeed written into the health care bill.
