dooo be dooo be doo....
Because Motor 'Voter' wasn't enough ....

Questions about Voter Registration
When you complete the Health Insurance Marketplace online application, we ask if you
or anyone in your household would like to register to vote. If you do want to register,
you can go to
USA.gov
to complete a voter registration form.

From the homepage, click
“Topics”
in the top navigation bar.

Scroll down and select
“Voting and Elections.”

Click on the bullet
Here are some things you should know:

Registering to vote is your choice — it isn’t required to apply for health coverage.

Your decision about registering to vote won’t affect your eligibility for health insurance
coverage or savings in the Marketplace.

You can file a complaint if you think someone has interfered with your right to:
¡
Register to vote or not to register
¡
Make your own choice in political party or other political preference

Comedy so good - I spit coffee out my nose:

CMS Product No. 11693
September 2013
Protect Yourself from Fraud in the Health Insurance
Marketplace
Your best protection against fraud is being informed! Starting October 1, 2013, you can apply for health
insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace, on
HealthCare.gov
. Here are a few things to help
you protect yourself while getting you the coverage you need.
Be informed.

Visit
HealthCare.gov
, the official Marketplace website, to learn the basics.

Compare insurance plans carefully before making your decision.

Look for official government seals, logos, and navigator and assister certifications.

Know the Marketplace Open Enrollment dates — October 1, 2013 through March 31, 2014. No one can
enroll you in a health plan in the Marketplace until Open Enrollment begins or after it ends unless you
have
special circumstances
.

Know that Navigators and certified application counselors should not ask you for money to enroll in a
health plan in the Marketplace. Consumers should be suspicious of anyone who charges them a fee in
connection with enrollment.

Know that if you have Medicare, it’s against the law for someone to sell you a Marketplace plan.
Protect your personal information.

No one should ask for your personal health information.

Keep personal and account numbers private. Don’t give your Social Security number or credit card or
banking information to companies you didn’t contact or in response to unsolicited advertisements.
Note:
If you get help from a Marketplace assister, they may need certain personal information like
your Social Security number to help you enroll.

Never give your personal information to someone who calls or comes to your home without your
permission, even if they say they are from the Marketplace.
Ask questions and verify the answers you get.

The Marketplace has trained assisters in every state to help you at no cost. Visit
HealthCare.gov
or call
1-800-318-2596
to find local help in your area. TTY users should call
1-855-889-4325
.

Ask questions if any information is unclear or confusing.

Write down and keep a record of a salesperson’s name or anyone who may assist you, who he or she
works for, phone number, street address, mailing address, email address, and website.

Don’t sign anything you don’t fully understand.
Report Anything Suspicious
If you suspect fraud, report it! Call the Health Insurance Marketplace consumer call center at
1-800-318-2596
. TTY users should call
1-855-889-4325
. Or contact local, state, or federal law enforcement
agencies or your state department of insurance. If you suspect identity theft, or feel like you gave your
personal information to someone you shouldn’t have, call your local police department and the Federal
Trade Commission’s ID Theft Hotline at
1-877-438-4338
. TTY users should call
1-866-653-4261
. Visit
ftc.gov/idtheft
to learn more about identity theft.

Just wait until the reality of the mix of uninsured who are actually purchasing insurance becomes apparent. They aren't releasing that data yet, but it's inevitable that the vast majority will be those who will cost more than the premiums being paid. Obviously an insurance co. can't survive by paying out more than they take in. No worries though. ObamaDontCare has built in bailouts for the insurance companies for when this happens. Who will foot the bill? Middle class tax payers of course. Well, future middle class tax payers. Current ones are getting tapped out. Come to think of it, the future tax payers are pretty tapped out too, already owing over $1.1 million in unfunded liabilities to entitlements. Just try explaining to a five year old how they have come to be over a million dollars in debt. Well actually that doesn't even include their debt. We have really done it for the kids this time!

C&P aleart...

White House Admits There May Be a Huge Problem With Thousands of Obamacare ‘Enrollments’

quote:

Senior White House officials said this week that approximately 126,000 Americans who thought they successfully navigated healthcare.gov and signed up for health insurance plans may not actually be enrolled in Obamacare, ABC News reported.
...
Administration officials admitted that those who have managed to make it through the frustrating enrollment process may not actually be signed up for the plans they chose with their insurers — even though the Obamacare website says differently.

Further, the problem may involve all enrollments, including those who have been trying to sign up since the health care website first launched Oct. 1.
...
IT experts say that while the so-called “front-end” of the Obamacare website has improved, the “backend” glitches are still a major problem.

“Until the enrollment process is working from end-to-end, many consumers will not be able to enroll in coverage,” said Karen Ignani, president and CEO of America’s Health Insurance Plans. “In addition to fixing the technical problems with healthcare.gov, the significant ‘backend’ issues must also be resolved to ensure that coverage can begin on Jan. 1, 2014.”
...
“The White House announced that they have met their goal,” Shlora said of the pricey and error-plagued website. “They are taking applications but they aren’t going anywhere. What kind of goal is that?”

History is repeating itself.

For instance 1793->1804.

Anyone care to guess what these two cause/effect years have in common? There is a possibility that this is coming to America.

So the Department of Health and Human Services is now going to tell the young healthy people to "forget about the price tag" and just sign up for ObamaDontCare. REALLY? These are the folks who were convinced too vote for this ass-clown for FREE health care.

Who originally said "If you think health care is expensive now, just wait until you see how expensive it is when it's free"?

NOT A JOKE: Video called ‘Forget About The Price Tag’ wins HHS grand prize for promoting Obamacare

It somehow seems fitting that the young who voted him in are the ones that will take the brunt of the steaming pile. Vote to repeal it before it's too late!

So if you want to know if you have had your information transferred to your insurance company from the exchanges.... call your insurance company.
(because what this industry and service paradigm needed was ANOTHER layer of bureaucracy)

The error 834 message - honestly - this is what I did when I worked for insurance; with TRAINED professionals, dedicated to the industry, and brokers coaching applicants through EVERY box on the app .... you still lost 25% of data as 'incomplete' or corrupt.....

now go get some one with no experience and industry knowledge.... is it any wonder why this shiat ain't working ?

saw this coming years away - we should have. ;?/

from a trade association that is on top of things in the Health Care Sector.

In a win for irony, a music video entitled “Forget About the Price Tag” has won the Department of Health and Human Services Healthy Young America Video Contest. The link is to The White House blog, not The Onion.

If the administration actually paid as promised, your tax money was used to fund the $2,000 first prize. And, the first 100 qualified entrants received a “Stay Healthy Kit,” consisting of a t-shirt, a sun protection kit, and a water bottle.

search the youtubble - it is bad; and we paid for it.

Another "feature" of Obamacare: Patients who stop paying premiums can stick their doc and insurance company with 3 months of medical care.

1 in 4 Obamacare enrollments affected by technical bugs

Boy, a 25% failure rate! That's terrible! A quick spot check of a few forms would have identified this problem. Actual testing would certainly have shown it. They are now bragging that the failure rate is down to 10%. That's still terrible! If I turned over code to go into production that had a 10% failure rating I would be embarrassed for months. That's the kind of thing that gets a developer a bad reputation in the real world. I guess in world of big government it gets you a pat on the back. Keep in mind, THIS HAS BEEN RUNNING LIVE FOR MONTHS NOW!

Personally embarrassed as a professional, but with the real-world (not CYA government) bonus of no job. All the MSM cheerleaders are declaring the site fixed based on those terrible results and not acknowledging the business where enrolees are being told to contact their new insurance companies and confirm that they are actually covered.

They say Millions of uninsured people will have health insurance..., some of them for the very first time..., OK...so... How many people have joined so far?? AND how do those numbers compare to the number of folks whose lives have been disrupted by this law?

All those millions of people they speak of... who now have insurance ...for the very first time.... Who are they?? Are they mostly healthy people who are living on food stamps and Medicaid? Or college kids now working but living at home and getting insurance under their parents?

I wonder what would happen if no one filed their taxes next year?

The California 'enrollment' experience is that they are finding that 4 to 1 elibibility for Medicaid over paying customers ...and Michigan is enrolling prisoners - it so smells of Fail.

If smart, well read, well monied and politically savy - just decide NOPE.
The whole damn shell game would collapse - panic and mayhem for about 18 months...

“If the injustice is part of the necessary friction of the machine of government, let it go, let it go: perchance it will wear smooth--certainly the machine will wear out… but if it is of such a nature that it requires you to be the agent of injustice to another, then I say, break the law. Let your life be a counter-friction to stop the machine. What I have to do is to see, at any rate, that I do not lend myself to the wrong which I condemn.”

It's becoming obvious that the ACA is just one step in the road to Socialized Health Restrictions on your life, aka The End Of Fun.

Oh, and you won't have to pay your insurance company anymore. Just a "fee" to pay for the next 50 million Illegal's health care.

I'm not sure when we get to pay for the health care of the rest of the planet. I don't think even England has tried that one.....too much.

Chicago has / is
they are working up a 'carbon' "credit" and fine in that you are billed, fined, charged, taxed based on your personal carbon footprint - (that they would of course assign, administrate and enforce)
it is essentially a breathing tax

The IRS is of course working on a FAT Tax - because the logic is that fat people are a bigger drain on the medical system - so they should pay more.
(you know - weighed and charged like cattle)

The harbor should be full of heads.

Ezekial Emmanuel literally scares me (to death). He is reminiscent of high level ranking Nazis in the Third Reich even though the irony is that he is Jewish. He is rude, boorish, interruptive, mendacious, and dictatorial. In short, he is un-American. Sorry if the last statement offends the sensibility of well-meaning and not so well meaning ProgLibs.

http://pjmedia.com/andrewklavan/2013/11/27/a-death -panel-toldja-so/

Now, I wrote about the inevitability of this in 2009 in the Wall Street Journal. In an op-ed entitled “The Panel,” I imagined a future victim of the ObamaCare State:

It begins to occur to you that this is how you are going to die: by the fiat of fatuous ideologues—that is to say, by the considered judgment of a government committee. They are going to snuff you out and never lose a minute’s sleep over it, because it’s only fair, after all.

That logic is implacable too. Free people can treat each other justly, but they can’t make life fair. To get rid of the unfairness among individuals, you have to exercise power over them. The more fairness you want, the more power you need. Thus, all dreams of fairness become dreams of tyranny in the end.

I only remind the reader of this because of the reaction I got at the time. You can get the gist of it by reading some of the comments on the WSJ site in which I’m accused of writing “fiction,” “science fiction,” and of being a paranoid schizophrenic, among other things.

So I would now like all those who made such comments — online and in my email — to imagine my response. And, ala Obama, let me suggest you spend Thanksgiving dinner breaking it to Grandma that the Hopey-Changey One thinks it’s time she stop being such a burden…

the death panels are there - I spent 20 pages on a disclosure paper about it while getting my Masters - a full quarter in 'health care ethics'.... the teacher of the class - a full lib dem Obama supporter - gave me a C on the paper - with no markings on the content what so ever.
I took it to academic review: and got it overturned - but look hard and deep at the mantra - the whole class was that 'health care' was a "Right" .... but when you shine the light on the true words of the bill and the implications of the bill (ie the IPAB) you will be mocked, censured, and attempted to be discredited.

*To my knowledge - she never read the bill - but has a Masters in Social Care and 'Justice' Whatever the F that is.
be vary aware and cautious of the MSC designator - DAMHIK

PS IF the IPAB is not filled out with representatives - the sole power is held, exercised and wielded by the 'Secretary' - currently Sebelius

If you want to know how she thinks on 'rationing' look no further than the instance of the 10 year old and the organ transplant.....

rationing comes - and gee - maybe if you are not a Democrat and a party carrying supporting Lib-Tard that contributed to an election - it comes sooner .... ie ala IRS operations/care access limitations

enjoy the show.
