The latest episode of Fast N loud showcasing the Smokey and the Bandit TA they are building featured a Buell XB 12s or 9s in the background. Just had to point it out that these car and bike builders appreciate a good bike when they see it. And no it was not chopped up, other than a fender eliminator kit. |

Yeah, I saw that also. Looked like a silver framed XB9. I like watching these guys simply because they know they are on there to put on a show. You know.....besides the fact that they are good at what they do. Burt Reynolds will be on their new upcoming show. I think it is tonite.....isn't it? |

I do enjoy the show however...I don't know where they find all these suckers....probably 50% of the "builds" I have seen go like this... 1) Find rusty shitbox and buy for $1,000 2) Clearcoat rust, drop in new motor and rebuild brakes. Fight with asian lady over the cost do to something to the interior. May or may not cut springs to give it a "wicked stance" 3) Sell for $50,000 |

Had to rewind and pause the TiVo to make sure; but yes a Buell XB sitting in the background. And for quite a few seconds too. ASS Monkey! |

If it is like Pickers, they pay the seller a fee for the use of his premises or some such. |

Definitely an XB - with the silver frame, it looks to me like an XB9S (12's had a charcoal frame). Also looks like a 200 rear tire on it - ugh. "he's thirsty...dummy". Good episode. They're fun to watch. Don't know if I'd buy one of their cars...but they are fun to watch. Nice change from the "normal" reality-show BS. No anger, no drama, just a couple good ol' boys playing with cars and drinkin' beer. |

In the early days of the show they'd put stuff in auctions and lose their butts quite often. I've noticed the bike as well. Surprised it looks so stock. |

The cool part I like about these guys is they are not trying to create high priced show cars, or theme cars all the time. They are true car flippers and will do what they can to make a quick buck no matter what. Love em or hate em, it is entertaining. If I was in that part of texas, I would visit the bar. |
