Does it matter if it's hooked up backwards? Mine has a fuse, and as long as that's on the positive side, it's all good, right? |

Yup. My olde Widder, and my newer Widder, do not have polarity on the plug at all, and I have never had a problem in close to 20 years. |

I always snigger at the mention of an electric vest, as to us Brits a vest is what you'd call an undershirt, & I wonder if you wear electric underpants too. |

Glitch, The controller might be polarity sensitive if it's a electronic version, the vest itself? Probably not. |

The only "controller" is an on/off switch on the positive wire, that also has an inline fuse. Reep, I'd not been able to tell if it had gone to AC, it's in the low twenties. Almost to cold to ride. |
