Still working on a name, but Aurora is in the lead. She is a Pit mix with some boxer I believe. She is a rescue that was starved and then abandoned. Massively underweight but getting better everyday! She is super sweet and is adjusting to me and her sister Pit Bull well.   | ||

 Super good news! Good dawgie should get some Thanksgiving scraps fo sho! "Aurora", eh? That name reminded me of a few dogs on the interwebz who can "say" things, that name is in the realm of the possible! More pics, phleeze! Weird, I just remembered that I dreamed about adopting a 3rd and 4th dog last nite... which aint happening, unless I hit the lotto and buy a new place! Good on ya Whisper! | ||

I have another pic of her at the shelter I adopted her from, but it is to big, and I don't know how to resize pics. Her and her sister pup are getting along, I can now leave the two of them alone together. They each have their own dishes and seem to be honoring them. We had a couple of potty accidents because I didn't take her out in time, but now we are on a shedule that is working out well. She is a really good girl. Cuddles right up on the bed, gives good kisses and is smart. It only took 10 minutes to teach her to sit, I'm super stoked about that. With her and Athena my bed is full, but warmer which is nice now that it is getting cold. She will definitely be getting some Thanksgiving grub! | ||

Good deal. My last dog was from a shelter. I'll get another shelter dog when I can, there are so many that need good homes. I was considering Aurora for my Aussie but decided on Sierra. | ||

Well, we got an official name now. Decided to go with Aphrodite. After being home a couple of days now, she has really turned up the lovin, so it fits. And is enough different sounding from Athena that they shouldn't get mixed up. | ||

Bluz, I'll have to send you some after pics For you to resize for me, Thanks! After just a week I'm seeing a difference, it's amazing what a good steady diet can do. She's an eating pooping machine I don't think she'll get tagged with Afro, but I'm sure somebody one of these days will say it. When I don't call her Aphrodite, I call her sweetie girl. For all she's been through she's a wonderful well behaved dog. I'm thankful and blessed to have her at home with Athena and I. |
