First of all I still have my '06 ULY which I like and ride at least once a week. Two yrs prior to retiring I decided to branch out into something different for a change of pace so I had a vintage triumph chopper built. It won Best British Bike two yrs in a row at Willie's Show in Daytona at Biketoberfest '12/'13. Now it is in The Horse Backstreet Choppers...I am stoked. Check it out:

Thanks. Todd Asin (Small City cycles) builds some killer bikes. Google him and check out his work. |

I just read the article in The Horse this morning. Congrats, by the way! I have a question about the bike please; the article stated that the exhaust was modified to clear the clutch cable. What specifically was done? Thanks, Dan |

Dan, They took a photo of the exhaust but it did not make the cut I guess. A metal block was welded into a hole cut into the to top pipe where the clutch cable is located. Then an area was drilled out of the pipe where the block is and everything smoothed out before chroming. I am not home now by Tuesday I post a pic. It is a cool little detail to the bike. Frank |

If you look at the bottom row picture on the right and focus at the mouth of the carb you'll see the cable in front of the pipe. That is where the mod is located though it is very hard to make out in that photo. |
