Been on a Pink Floyd kick, myself, lately after reading Comfortably Numb: The Inside Story of Pink Floyd by Mark Blake It took much longer to read, than I expected, as every mention of a song and how it came to be, triggered an ear worm of said song.
Listening to "Wish You Were Here" (in my head as I type.)
There is a 4 part BBC special on Pink Floyd, mentioned in the book that looks like a good rainy day program.
In anticipation of someday soon rebuilding my hi-fi, I bought Christian McBride's new recording with his trio, "OUT HERE"... gotta listen to it on my little semi-crappy computer speaker system.
LOVE this new CD. Highly recommended, even though I've just gotten through about half of it.

Lately, I've been on a big ska and roots reggae kick. Been listening to my The Specials Pandora station. The Specials, Selector, Toots Maytal, Madness, etc.

These days most of the mainstream radio station playlists are down to three or four songs per artist. Imagine my surprise to hear this on the radio today. Brought back some school day memories with it.
I've been using Spotify for a while now and it's been really good for finding new stuff for me. I've found quite a few bands which are a little stoner rock, a little heavy blues, a little retro 70's southern rock, a lot of fuzz pedals
Fav's at the moment are Fireball Ministry, The Company Band, Clutch, Five Horse Johnson and Kamchatka...
The Company Band is Clutch frontman Neil Fallon, Fireball Ministry frontman James Rota, CKY drummer Jess Margera, guitarist Dave Bone, and Fu Manchu bassist Brad Davis:
