I haven't looked into "Tea Teams USA" yet. I literally just ran across this. Perhaps it's the radical that we need right now.

Sifo, thanks for that. To paraphrase, time to do some studying.

Bill Whittle has recently changed his strategy, as well, in a similar manner it would appear: https://www.billwhittle.com/commentary/bamboo-spea rs

PPACA was sold and packaged just as it always has been, by liars and charlatians.

Honestly I am quite surprised at HOW CLEAR and DISTINCT the plan and the path were spelled out in the text of the bill.

It was all right there, in plain print, and in historical precedence for anyone that was paying attention.

PS the answer is just as apparent and clear - again to those that have been paying attention and know history.

Senior HHS Official To Brief Only House DEMOCRATS On ObamaCare Mess In Closed Door Session

Isn't this a huge part of the problem in the first place? The Democrats have shut Republicans out of this every place they can. Then they wonder why when the Republicans in the house are finally in a position to have a voice of majority, the Democrats have their panties wadded up because it's being opposed. It's been a scorched Earth policy right from the start.

This meeting sole purpose is probably just to figure out how they can do what needs to be done without giving "any" credit to Republicans.

Lets see how hard they stomp their feet after this meeting (if they come up with something)

FB1,
Great post and hopefully our non-Conservative friends will take the time to read it. When faced with facts, logic, and experience, most people will wake up to the fact that feel good ProgLiberalism is a path to death and economic destruction. This process is slow because this change requires that the individual admit to themselves that they have been wrong. It happened to me.

It happened to Artur Davis, too:

Artur Davis, who backed Obama in 2008, to speak at GOP convention
Written by David Fahrenthold, this article appeared in The Washington Post on August 16, 2012.

Former congressman Artur Davis, who officially seconded President Obama’s nominationat the 2008 Democratic convention, said Wednesday that he will cap a remarkable political metamorphosis by addressing the Republican convention this month — calling for Obama’s defeat.

Davis, 44, who served in the House as a Democrat from Alabama from 2003 to 2011, said in a telephone interview that he has been given a speaking slot at the Aug. 27-30 Republican convention in Tampa. He said he was not sure yet of the day on which he would speak.

So I still can't get completely registered with healthcare.gov. Despite apologists for this system like our own Froggy who tries to blame the victim, I'm clearly not the only one...

My Failed Attempt to Create An Obamacare Account: Can Site Really Be This Stupid?

That's the exact error that has had me stopped for about a week now. I almost want to go to the old cliche, "we can send a man to the moon, but...", except we can't do that anymore. Now we have a government that can't even make a website where you can register. The scary thing to me as an ex IT guy, is that they haven't gotten this "glitch" fixed yet. It's a show stopper right at the beginning of the process. That should have it near the top of the list of things to fix, NOW. So why is it not fixed yet? It could be there are worse show stoppers to deal with first. That would be bad. It could be that it's a far more complicated fix that it appears to be. That would be really bad. It could be that they are simply this incompetent. That might be the worst. It's also probably be the most likely.

So here's a question for our community. Has anyone actually committed to purchasing insurance under this system? ANYONE? We have hundreds of folks here right? Even if a small percentage of folks are getting insurance this way, there must be a few. ONE? Just asking. Anyone planning to? What's the real experience been? Mine has been piss poor so far. Yes, I need to shop for insurance. It just looks like healthcare.gov isn't the place to do that. What's the consensus?

Progressivism, Honesty and Obamacare
Mike McDaniel, Oct 25, 2013

One of the more blatant continuing public policy lies is that Progressives care deeply for the little people, particularly minorities and the poor. Progressives are their champions, protecting them from evil, greedy conservatives who want to push grandmothers in wheelchairs off cliffs, give women cancer, wage war on women, kick puppies, steal children’s lollipops, keep every American from having health care and ensure that every school child in America is personally murdered by the NRA.

I’ve little doubt that Progressives care about actual human beings rhetorically, and in the abstract, but only if said little people know their place: providing unending and slavish support for the Progressive elite and their policies. Step out of line just once, and little people become, in the sight of the progressive self-imagined elite, microscopic.

What Happened to All of Obama's Technology Czars?
Michelle Malkin · Oct. 25, 2013

Why does the White House need a private-sector “tech surge” to repair its wretched Obamacare website failures? Weren't all of the president's myriad IT czars and their underlings supposed to ensure that taxpayers got the most effective, innovative, cutting-edge and secure technology for their money?

Now is the perfect time for an update on Obama's top government titans of information technology. As usual, “screw up, move up” is standard bureaucratic operating procedure.

Let's start with the “federal chief information officer.” In 2009, Obama named then 34-year-old “whiz kid” Vivek Kundra to the post overseeing $80 billion in government IT spending. At 21, Kundra was convicted of misdemeanor theft. He stole a handful of men's shirts from a J.C. Penney's department store and ran from police in a failed attempt to evade arrest. Whitewashing the petty thief's crimes, Obama instead effused about his technology czar's “depth of experience in the technology arena.”

Just as he was preparing to take the federal job, an FBI search warrant was issued at Kundra's workplace. He was serving as the chief technology officer of the District of Columbia. Two of Kundra's underlings, Yusuf Acar and Sushil Bansal, were charged in an alleged scheme of bribery, kickbacks, ghost employees and forged timesheets. Kundra went on leave for five days and was then reinstated after the feds informed him that he was neither a subject nor a target of the investigation.

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/362255/obama cares-magical-thinkers-mark-steyn

The standard rap on Obamacare is that it’s turned America’s health system into the DMV. If only. I had cause to go to the DMV in Twin Mountain, N.H., the other day. In and out in ten minutes. Modest accommodations, a little down-at-heel, nothing cool about it at all. But it worked just fine. Friendly chap, no complaints. Government can do that at the town level, county level, even (more sparingly) at the state level.

But a national medical regime for 300 million people? Not in a First World country. And, when you’re mad enough to try it, the failure is not the insignificant enrollment numbers, but the vaporization of the existing health plans of 119,000 Pennsylvanians, 160,000 Californians, 300,000 Floridians, 800,000 in that tech tweeter’s New Jersey . . . That’s the magic that happens when you disdain the limits of prosaic, humdrum, just-about-functioning government. Perhaps things will get so bad the coolest president ever will no longer seem quite so hip. But, alas, you’ll have to wait three years for a hip replacement. That’s government health care for you.

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/362153/obama cares-ticking-clock-jonah-goldberg

Earlier this week, MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski tried to call the Healthcare.gov helpline and got an operator. That’s right: an operator! The call went through! MSNBC, the unofficial AV department of the Democratic party, had a scoop. The network tweeted out the big news along with a link to the video: “Mika called the Obamacare hotline and got through with no problems — right on air. WATCH.”

It’s a sure sign that the bar has been lowered to curb height when spinners are touting the exciting news that phone calls actually go through. Someone picked up the phone! Quick, hang that “Mission Accomplished” banner. Never mind that you simply cannot buy insurance from the exchanges over the phone. But the fact you can get someone on the line to tell you that is, I suppose, progress of a kind.

I predict that we will look back on these golden weeks & months before the Obamacares website is fixed as the last time many of us didn't have an active IRS file under scrutiny of the President's minions.

When this is fully implemented, some fellow who works for Barry, reading blogs and scanning for criticism of the Glorious Leader, will spot an Un-Obama comment, and be able to cross reference the evil, racist commenter in the database.

Then the reply to your post will include where you work, where you live, where your children go to school, ( and once Common Core is up, their grades, buying preferences, pictures and schedules. ) how much you made last year, to whom, and how much, you contributed to charity and politics, your medical condition, average blood pressure, and a Google map street view picture of your house.

The last one taken before the mob burns it down.

I'd have said the above was a paranoid delusion, but we've already seen the IRS illegally punishing Enemies of the One, and the Social Justice Dept. punishing those who DID NOT CONTRIBUTE to Obama, and the use of Twitter by White House Employees to lie, character assassinate, and reveal classified and private information about citizens.

So that post calling barry a weasel ( like I made last week ) could result in a flash mob directed at my house, at my children as they get off the bus, at my family.

Somehow this bothers me more than the old paranoid delusion that some alphabet agency will send a paramilitary commando team to my house to shoot the dog, confiscate any "assault weapons" they find, and in the grand tradition of crooked cops anywhere, drop a bag of crack on the floor so they can arrest me when they find me innocent. ( Unless that 7th century battle ax on the side table was determined to be an Assault Weapon when I wasn't paying attention )

Ah, the good old days.

I can think of several left-leaning BadWeB'ers who've remained very silent here of late, but who I KNOW watch these political threads with a burning passion. It'd sure be easy to score brownie points with your superiors by narc'ing on folks on the "wrong" side in the social media. "Read something, say something" comes to mind, especially when the mere act of voicing one's patriotism is now being labeled, by some, as subversive...

You have seen how this regime operates. Now that unConstitutional behavior has been implicitly condoned by an apathetic electorate, the glorious leaders ten, twenty, thirty years down the road will make Obama seem right wing, comrade citizen.

Garryb, that's a pretty funny opinion piece.

Basically claiming that the failure of ObamaDontCare will the the fault of the Republicans for not providing advertising money for free shit. Trust me, if the free shit is anything but actual shit, word gets out, especially among the poor. Just look at how the word got out when EBT card limits couldn't be checked a few weeks ago. It literally only took hours to turn into a mob scene clearing store shelves of free shit.

The funny thing is that pResident POS has made the claim that the website was failing to it's overwhelming successes. Too many people getting the word was the problem. OK, you got me. He lied on that one. There are huge problems with the website that has nothing to do with too much traffic. Still, are we really expected to believe that most people don't know about them giving out free shit? The problem here is that they are charging a lot of money for the free shit. Once the people find out that the free shit actually is shit and it's not free, they stop getting in line. Go figure.

even with PAID and TRAINED insurance professionals - open enrollment data drop / data corruption is at 22-25%; I have seen enough companies go through open enrollment to expect nothing less that 1/4 bad data.... and that is BEFORE you attempt to 'use' the plan.

use your own personal experience, how many times have you called the insurance company and they had the 'wrong' data ?..... ?

now add into the mix that it is the 'government' doing it - and owned by the IRS - and this is a boon doggle of epic proportions.

No, I think the point is a general policy of the GOP working for failure in America, using any way possible to achieve it.

By denying funds for roll out, for the non compliance of the state market places, for the 45 attempts to block it risking the USA ability to service its debt and bringing all federal jobs and projects to its knees.

One more thing on that onion piece. ObamaDontCare hinges largely on young, healthy adults purchasing policies to subsidize less profitable policies. Are you really going to try to convince anyone that young adults who are very savvy with staying up to day using modern technology, really don't know that healthcare.gov is... Well what's a more accurate way of saying up and running?

That's odd, because the link you provided was an opinion piece on ObamaDontCare and how it was likely to fail for lack of funds to advertise it to the masses. Of course because of the GOP. Probably GWB specifically.

This is healthcare reform.

Bad, non compliant health policies will need to be replaced. The insurance companies could have made their policies better/compliant or they could continue to try to rip off their policy holders and will have to discontinue the policy.

I guess that concept might be a little complicated for some.

So far everyone I know who is making less than $30,000 is getting almost free coverage.

Those making under $50,000, are getting about $200/month federal aid that is making the better policy cheaper than what they were paying.

Those under $65,000 get some reduction.

Wait a bit for the states to become compliant and the insurance companies to start competing for the millions of available customers including those who have bad /noncompliant plans and insurance will continue to get cheaper and cheaper.

But you probably already figured this out.
