No worries, FB1. I enjoy thinking about Ted-Oh! Cruz and Allen West will make great American leaders in the White House.

The Left is terrified of Cruz and has already started to Palinize him but it isn't going to work as the ACA implodes and America wakes up to the fact that Cruz IS Right.

um no.
Go back and read the history of Social Security. When proposed in 1934 and subsequently implemented - the life expectancy of the American working male was.....54; for a woman - 58
the BENEFIT distribution point was set at 10% ABOVE nominal national mortality numbers - in an effort to collect the tax and minimize the outlay payment of 'benefits'
had health care and life expectancy stayed at current levels from its inception.... it NEVER would have paid out expect in statistical exceptional ananomolies

You were NEVER supposed to collect on it.
Go read some history
Go study some numbers
and remember - Politicians LIE

PS you should see the OECD calculations on the 'value' of life - and just how those parameters are going to be imposed
If you 'LIKE' ObamaCare - you are NOT paying attention ; at all.

Cruz and Allen West will make great American leaders in the White House.

I hope Cruz survives the assault on his principles by the progressive left and their media shills, AND by the old-guard, lifer Republicans who realize he's making them look bad (or, more accurately, look worse). Cruz would make an outstanding President.

The 0-Team and his minions did a pretty good job of taking some wind out of Allen West's sails down in Florida last November. The corruption surrounding the vote tally in the Congressional race between him and Murphy was blatant and breathtaking, and yet not a single person in a position of authority (up to and including the Republican governor of Florida!) did a damn thing about it, other than pay enough lip service to please the Master and distract the public long enough for us to stop paying attention.

LTC West has just launched a new web site. Here's the press release:

quote:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Former Congressman and Lt. Colonel Allen B. West Launches Personal Website.

www.allenbwest.com expands reach of principled, conservative leader.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, OCTOBER 21, 2013 – Building on the phenomenal growth of his social media presence, Colonel Allen B. West has launched his own personal website. Allenbwest.com will help expand the reach of his conservative message, provide a rich resource of facts and perspective, and serve as a hub for the growing number of endeavors in which West is involved including an upcoming book,The Allen West Foundation, The Allen West Guardian Fund, speaking engagements and his media presence on Fox News, Washington Times Communities and other outlets.

Since leaving office, West’s influence has expanded at an almost unheard of rate, with his Facebook followers alone growing from 189,000 in January 2013 to over 635,000 today. Clearly his unapologetic, courageous voice is resonating across the nation, and his website will give even greater exposure to his principled stance on a broad variety of issues facing our nation.

“To return our nation to its constitutional principles, to change the direction our nation is heading and restore our American exceptionalism, we must ensure our conservative voices are not attacked and gagged by the liberal media,” said Colonel West, “With this website we are proud to join those who will not be silenced.” [emphasis mine]

West’s site is part of the Liberty Alliance, a network of more than 40 web sites dedicated to advancing Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. The company’s members and strategic partners leverage the power of new media to promote traditional values and generate more than 1,000,000 page views each day.

According to Jared Vallorani, Chief Information Officer of Liberty Alliance, “We are honored to have Colonel Allen West partner with us. Colonel West stands as a beacon of hope, freedom, and courage. I can’t think of anyone who more closely represents our values and goals here at Liberty Alliance.”

About Allen B. West

Allen B. West was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia in the same neighborhood where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once preached. He is the third of four generations of military servicemen in his family.

During his decorated 22-year career in the United States Army, Lieutenant Colonel West served in several combat zones: in Operation Desert Storm, in Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he was a Battalion Commander in the Army’s 4th Infantry Division, and later in Afghanistan where he served as a civilian military adviser.

In November of 2010, Congressman West became the first black Republican from Florida since Reconstruction to be elected to the United States Congress.

Sebelius had scheduling problems to testify in front of the American People but had time to go to a gala in Boston. She had time to go on "The Daily Show" to make a fool of herself. There is zero accountability in this pathetic Obama administration.

If only the gain in the market was tied to a good economy instead of a policy of pumping money into Wall Street.

BTW, hows that working out for the poor?

The gain is because virtually every company is thriving because of the money pumped into the economy.

Also:

WASHINGTON -- The nation’s unemployment rate dropped to a five-year low of 7.2% in September, the government reported Tuesday, but employers continued to show reluctance in hiring as they added a moderate 148,000 jobs over the month.

of course if we hadn't pumped all that money into the economy as the tea party prefers, the market and the economy and the job market would still be deep in the depression which the republicans created.

The working class certainly isn't doing well either...

90,609,000: Americans Not in Labor Force Climbs to Another Record

Sucks to be a woman too...

154,000 Fewer Women Held Jobs in September; Female Participation in Labor Force Matches 24-Year Low

I will admit, that for me personally it's been a great year. This year my wife and I decided to leave the full time work force, for part time work that gives summers off. I'm not so selfish to want the country to suffer so that I can live it up though.

The reason the thriving companies aren't hiring is because the republicans keep blocking everything Obama tries to do and keeps telling everyone how bad things are.

if I believed you on how bad things are, I wouldn't be hiring either, but we are.

Yep, everyone's retirement fund has grown more than anyone would have guessed, especially if you were listening to republicans, my wife was able to retire also.

You contradict yourself. If companies were thriving, they would be hiring. A five year low unemployment rate of 7.2% is terrible! Five freaking years of this! The only reason it's down to 7.2% is because people have given up. See my previous post about record high numbers of people NOT participating in the work force. Not just high, but record high!

Now how should we arrange these deck chairs?

False. A business is going to hire as they see fit, not as a political party tells them to... as if that were happening. Please provide evidence.

What have the Republican blocked that prevents hiring? Please share.

The chart of company earnings mirrors the chart of the stock market.

There has been massive wealth created under Obama, too bad the uncertainty created by all those who are in denial, slows job creation.

Chart? Please share. Don't keep it to yourself.

You claim massive wealth was created. The reality is that massive numbers of dollars were borrowed, printed, and given to Wall Street banks. It's a huge influx of dollars to be sure, but doesn't create wealth, it just devalues the dollar. How does that help the poor again? You seem to be avoiding that question. BO is all about helping the poor, right?

For the same reason that they always hire. I know this is confusing, but businesses hire for one simple reason. Because they have to.

The reality, and it shows in your own post...

but employers continued to show reluctance in hiring as they added a moderate 148,000 jobs over the month.

They just are NOT hiring.

From 2010:
Charles and David Koch, the owners of Wichita-based Koch Industries Inc., were ranked fifth on Forbes magazine’s list of the nation’s 400 richest Americans.

The brothers wealth was listed at $21.5 billion apiece. That’s better than last year when their wealth was listed at $16 billion. The brothers ranked ninth on the list back then.

Koch Bros this year:
Charles and David Koch, of Wichita-based Koch Industries Inc., are each worth $34 billion, according to an estimate from Forbes. That puts them tied at No. 6 on the magazine's list of the world's billionaires.

I think we have already agreed that BO is taking care of the wealthy by pumping dollars.

There has been massive wealth created under Obama...

True, but it's fake. It's money from nothing and Chicks for free..... The Fed printing money with no basis in reality is a disaster in progress.

Record unemployment. Record food stamps. 33% increase in food stamp payout, per person, with middle class income stagnant, or dropping.

Get it straight. Bush sucked, but he had 5% unemployment ( 8% if you count those who ran out of unemployment ) and the D's screamed "worst economy since the Great Depression" and lied. For 8 years.

Now, it IS the worst economy since the great depression, real unemployment is 17-20% ( depending on demographic and how many illegals you believe are here. 11-20+ million )

8% vs. 18% Real unemployment.

If Bush sucked, Obama's Hoover.

Sure, major companies that have money pumped into them have higher stock prices.

Can you say Bubble?

The point is the economy has had massive growth, but not as much hiring as normal cause of opinions of how things are going like yours keeping a constant stream of pessimism in the news,

Also the massive spin created by people like the Koch's who are not much of a friend to the unemployed and poor, or people who need social security or healthcare.

What is your opinion on the foreign policy now?

How about shipping weapons NOW to AQ/MB/genocidal terrorists in Syria?

How about the weapons smuggling that led to the Benghazi attack?

How about the weapons sales to the narcotic crimelords in Mexico?

You seem to not understand the difference between the stock market and the economy. They have a relationship, but they are far from the same thing.

If the economy is so great, why do we have record number not working? Why do we have record numbers on food stamps? Why do we have record numbers working part time instead of full time?

Not that taxing the rich helps the poor not be poor BTW.
