I for one will do things the way I always have, we can't undo what is done but we can get out there and be proper and show folks ya don't have to be concerned by our actions. We can pick and choose where to get stupid and truthfully ANY major road AINT IT. | ||

It's a bit crappy when you have to take public opinion into account just to go ride with your mates, but it'll blow over hopefully. Meantime how about turning the run into a sponsored or for charity thing to give you hooligans a veneer of legitimacy? After all that's exactly what the cruiser crowd did with poker runs etc to get away from the "Wild Bunch" image. | ||

Yeah I'd be willing to pay a couple beans for a local charity even if I don't make the run!! But I don't think it's necessary I truly believe just going out there and being who we are will do fine. We always chill when in a town or city limits and get spirited when out in the area's where it's not gonna bother anybody and we always discourage squids and people not geared up so IMHO in wouldn't or shouldn't be an issue. Plus in 2 weeks Fall may set in for real and the fair weather Tshirt terrorists will be long gone  | ||

Generally the last weekend in October, you know, Halloween, Headless Horseman, etc, etc. The main event is Sunday with everyone meeting at Perkins Tower atop Bear Mountain, NY. When everyone's ready it's kickstands up for a ride that loosely follows the Hudson and terminates at some delicious BBQ. Scheduling conflicts can alter the exact date so you have to follow the discussion here, on the Hudson Valley group in Storm Fronts or I think I heard there was a Facebook following, too. My riding season is done for this year but I sure hope there is an HH10 with Mr grumpy, Crusty and the regular crew. | ||
